We have always done fun Fridays since the beginning days of our homeschool. While it looks different every week and has evolved throughout the seasons and years, we have always had a lighter school day on Friday, finishing spelling tests and fun school like Night Zookeeper, as well fun (usually inexpensive) activities from swimming, to skating, to exploring a local museum or park. This is our dedicated day (but not the ONLY day of the week) that we have to have fun and make memories! I also usually try to get some cleaning done in the mornings to help up the house for the weekend. We always finish the day with a family movie night that we all look forward to! Today was a simple, but fun day for us. What do your Fridays look like?

If I had that extra room and didn't use it for anything girl, I'd be turning it into a library/reading room!! Keep a couch in there and line the walls with shelves! Loved seeing your day!

Stop giving me baby fever!!! 🫣 She is adorable!! You are rocking it! I definitely agree that the way the house looks has a lot to do with what mood I'm going to be in! We try and tidy up every night and it makes the day so much better!

My husband has had huge back pain relief receiving LLLT (low level laser therapy) some chiropractors have the cold lasers, near us it’s an acupuncturist with a pain relief specialty. Not many people know about it, so only reason why I mention it.

Good job, those are hard moments when other people have attitude towards you. I am a very assertive and sometimes aggressive person and do not take others being rude to me, sometimes I can snap back but being conscious and using it as a teaching moment is soooo important for kids. You did great! Better than me. 😅

Thanks for sharing! I love how calm and affectionate you are with your girls. I know you said you don’t really have a recipe for the dinner you made….any way you could share a “rough recipe” lol. How much cream? Cheese? You mentioned bone broth… thanks! ❤

I literally don’t even measure 🙈🙊 it’s a lb of pasta and a lb. of ground meat (whatever kind you prefer), I usually brown the meat and onions then remove them and add a little butter and flour to make a roux, then add milk/cream (whatever I have in my fridge), a bit of bone broth to help it go further, and some Parmesan cheese until it’s the consistency I like, then add spinach. Pinterest has a million versions of this! Just look up creamy pasta with sausage and you’ll find a bunch! (You can even add sun dried tomatoes!)

What a fun peek into your day as a homeschooling mom! Have you every done or considered being apart of a Co-op? Curious on your thoughts 😊

I do like the thought of a co op if it fits your family’s needs. The ones local to us are either very expensive (especially x3 kids), or they require a TON of hands on teaching and help from the parents or the classes are main subjects like math and LA and science that I already have resources for. So I check every year JUST to be sure, but it has never worked for us. We just try to join different homeschool activities and It’s been working well.

This one was Lou & Gray from Loft (I got it on a Black Friday sale). They have the softest sets, but I only ever get them on sale (which they have all the time).
