As goi moved farmers to wheat and rice during green revolution, it now has to move them to non water guzzling crops

It's high time milk and meat production is limited to reduce fodder crops and improve pulses , oilseeds production but political willpower would not allow it

Livestock grazing is PROVEN in Africa as the only means of restoring ln'dia's over-exploited farmlands. That requires first grasslands then forests restoration, meaning milk and livestock (and tree nuts and fruits) will be the only food source during the fallow.

@@robertmarmaduke186 Thanks for the concern given India's population and land use new grasslands or forests cannot be created it's also established across the world that animal husbandry is a good green house emitting business, hence we are good with less meat and milk

@@amodpataskar5673 #357The ONLY millennium-surviving management plan is *rotating livestock,* like the Serengheti and the American Plains, renewable restoreable ecology _since time out of mind._ Your grain, soy, pulse monocrop deforestation and desertification are from *YOU,* not from 'livestock farts'. How any sentient. human believes in *Magic CO2!* can only be a religious cult! 👍

Insightful discussion! Unfortunately, the Modi Bhakt community does not have time to talk about such important and sensitive topics. They are busy with doing Hindu Muslim / Hijab Halal, etcetera.

India became the world's, most populous country but no step has been taken to control population growth. Population growth is religion-based too. Climate change has destroyed agriculture and water sources. AI technology and robotic technology have destroyed jobs. If the population grows at this rate, India will face starvation, civil unrest, economic downfall
