Tommy is a supernice guy. I went to high school with him, and I did hang around with him and some friends that had a band back then called ReinXeed while they were rehearsing and fooling around. He was a real musical genius back then already. Cheers from the north (of Sweden)!

This was the very first Tommy Johansson (cover) song I heard. I immediately subscribed to his channel and watched (almost) every one of his videos...I still have a few older ones to catch up on. He's an amazingly talented singer and musician. You should also check out the original version of this song. The singer from Steelheart, Miljenko Matijevic, has an amazing voice. He is now 58 years old and still sounds great! And the band is still going, with him being the only remaining original member (the band formed in 1989). With this video, I have finally caught up with your reactions...been working so much lately that it's been hard to keep up. I'm ready for the next batch...bring 'em on! Cheers!

Hi queen, if you wat to get to know Tommy's main band Sabaton...well it is not his band, that would be Majestica, but if you want to hear Sabaton start with a live video en livstid I krig live in Gothenburg. If that doesn't blow you away I don't know what will. Put subtitles on because it is in swedish and the words are important This is one of my most favourite Tommy covers....he starts of so emotional he is breaking my heart almost. Please check out his cover of who wants to live forever by Queen. He dedicated it to Queen Elizabeth II when she passed. Makes me cry all the time

loving watching you experience Tommy like this.... i watch them in the morning to make me smile to start the day! there are a lot of other ones to hear, and many people have already suggested some. but i want to add one here that is criminally under-reacted to (even by people who have watched LOTS of his covers): "Eagle Fly Free", a cover of old school power metal band. Tommy simply kills it, and just make sure you are sitting down for the end of the song... :)

I ve just watch your reaction to Tommy it was fabulous this song and its lyrics are obviously directed at the ladies well I'm a 74 years old man and I like to think I'm definitely in touch with my female side and love anyone who can sing and put so much emotion into their performance what an incredible voice this man has got I was practically in tears loved every second of this shame you paused so much but I do understand why I will definitely be buying this and any others he's done hope you got your breath back

Remember you said he had that imma bad boy face? No wonder he has to sing this song. Way better singer than Prince but as talented on instrumental aptitude. That is one of the best male vocalists I've ever heard for metal or rock. Usually they are gritty coarse.

you should check out more songs by him as she released a song every day before Christmas in December but also songs by Sabaton with Disney music. He also knows Floor and helps with some of her own recordings but also is his interpretation of the Phantom of the Opera (supposed to be a duet but he does it himself)

You should find the original from Steelheart. Miljenko Matijevic has an unmatched voice and was nearly killed on stage when a stage lighting tower fell on him. He survived and came back to full form because he's still releasing quality music. When you hear Miljenko's voice you'll know that Tommy absolutely nailed this cover, every part of it.

His name za correctly pronounced Yohansson, but if you say Johansson it's not a big deal, he does it himself when he speaks English. Next I recommend one of the songs that show his guitar playing skills, as well as singing: Over The Hills And Far Away by Gary Moore (Nightwish covered it too) and Emerald by Thin Lizzy

Always look forward to your reactions to Tommy and you certainly didn't let me down. Hopefully you will check out his performances with Sabaton and his own band Majestica (formerly Reinxeed). Whilst I'm on here can I also suggest you give a listen to another a cappella group Home Free as I see you like Pentatonix. Personally I find Pentatonix overworked but that is just my opinion. I'm sure you have had Home Free suggested to you 1.3 zillion times but I didn't think that one more would hurt. Btw, for goodness sake keep breathing as it is always a pleasure to see your lovely smiling face. Take care. x

Great reaction! 🤘 You'll see that sneaky smile and his sense of humour in a lot of his videos. He actually made Disney versions of Sabaton songs. I do recommend you to react to the original versions by Sabaton first. That make the Disney versions even more hilarious! 😄 Check out Swedish Pagans" and "Primo Victoria". Listen to the origina by Steelheart this came out in the early 90's they were one of those bands that got signed to late for that particular "scene" thanks to grunge. But the singers voice is amazing. Tommy kept the music and the vocal range very close to the original

Floor left a comment on his version of alone wondering why it sounded familiar 😂 and he created the music for her cover of Frozen 2 into the….. that she did during covid . Music in fantastic and has room for so many flavours of brilliance. Tommy is the Peter Pan of metal (brings all the fun, charm and talent ) Floor is a godess !!!!☺️

You pronounced his name Johansen wich is more common in Norway, Try to split the word with "Johans" and "on" ( On like in On /Off) and it will sound more like how we say it in Sweden.. If you would like to pronounce Johansson like a Swede, the J is pronounced like a Y, the h is silent and the last o is O not E. (If you say SEN it sounds Norwegian or Danish). Also the emphazis is on the first O and not on the A, and said like the O in tomb. So all toghether its something like yOanson.

Very Very good excellent voice and range ! But once you've heard the original done by Milijenko Matijevic you will hear all the missing elements mostly the emotion and how it's properly sung . Tommy has a hell of a voice and can definitely hit the notes but that's not all that's involved in delivering this sone like Matijevic ! Kudo's Tommy awesome job !

Great song. I will try to shed some light on the pronounciation of his name. The J is pronounced the same way as in the word Jaws or Jibberish. The both O letters is pronounced as a more round O. Like in the word Pro. So it's not Johansen. Another abit more famous Johansson is Scarlett. But to be honest I'm quite sure that Tommy doesn't care to much. I myself has always been called Eriksen by native English speaker. I don't mind. It's either that or a rant like this over my name. But since You asked... This was written on the fly so maybee there's better exampel words. Hope it makes sense. Keep up the (mostly) European music journey. Yes you have to listen to the original, live unplugged. The original singer has a higher range, but not much.

He has a lot in common with Tommy, being a fun and very likeable multi-musician doing covers in his very own (more heavy) style. He's from Norway (what is it with those nordic countries).
