A Safety Training video for Great Northern Drivers for services operated by class 313's between Moorgate and and Drayton Park, in London. On what to do in a emergency and how to conduct a tunnel evacuation if needed. Some brief history about the line is also given at the introduction of the video.

"Remember, when applying the short-circuiting bar in the northern city line tunnels, you must always turn away and cover your eyes" So you won't get sparks flying at your eyes.

Those safety vests in the tube tunnel cabinets are filthy. Someone should clean them every once in a while so they remain “high visibility” and not “impossible to see due to a large accumulation of dust”!

Used to drive this route regularly as 313’s were my first basic traction, whilst based at Kings Cross. Nice to see former colleague and driver John Murray on this video
