When I was in college for finance, I was so shocked at how many other finance majors knew this and that about business finance or how to run numbers for a hard problem, but would make stupid financial decisions. Most of them were broke college students so I understood that, but part of the reason was because they weren't treating their finances the way they were treating their classes.

I agree, I have to admit I was the same in my 20s because I knew my parents would always bail me out. Then they got divorced and my dad moved north and it just wasn’t an option anymore. I never realised how much I relied on them until they divorced. I sorted myself out pretty quickly but it was a shock how much they supported me when I actually wrote it out on paper. I’m doing it differently with my own kids but it is hard to watch them go through it so I totally get why my parents did what they did.

If she has chronic inflammation she needs to be drinking fresh grated turmeric and ginger tea on a daily basis. That doesn’t cost much at all.... Sometimes the simplest things help the body not all these expensive organic food that ppl like to recommend.

Indeed. Drink it always and a simple pleasure. Making some right now. That inflammation is a flashing red light and pharmaceuticals just makes it worse. Maybe some minor fasting for autophagy and cleanse. No processed food. Exercise. Better foods like spermidine and natural probiotics for gut health as well among other things.

I have chronic back pain but I’m sure is not the level of hers, therefore I am not minimizing her pain. I make more money than that but don’t feel that I can afford endless physical therapy and chiropractic services. I learned the exercise and stretches and purchased exercise balls treadmill etc, they will give you pictures. I get my husband to massage my back when he can. You have to work your medical and dietary things within your budget. If you can’t afford all organic vegetables then just by regular vegetables, lean meat, no processed food. Sugar is the biggest substance that causes inflammation so keeping that to a minimum is helpful. I’m not being judgmental just offering some suggestions if the caller is listening. I live in Raleigh as well, by the way.

He didn’t specify his wife’s dietary issues. But, if this guy ends up looking though these comments I’d like him to look into home growing “Micro Greens!” You can do it from any home. There are small countertop grow lights, and information on KZfaq. They are nutrient dense, they are reasonably priced, and they are tasty, or you can blend them into something if you don’t like the flavor. It’s really God’s magic pill! Seed nutrients without eating the seed!
