How can you not pay your bills for 6 years, have an income, and not have your wages garnished? I simply do not understand how people get away with this.

She ain't bout to pay those, she was just trying to find out if she can use bankruptcy as a means to not pay them indefinitely.

40k medical debt that hasn't been paid on in 2 years and she wasn't sued. Yet because of an insurance mix up, I was threatened with legal action over a 175 dollar billing error???

I used to work at a bank, this one lady literally admitted to us that she was gonna take out a HELOC (Home equity line of credit the thing this lady has). A credit card and a personal loan then just file bankruptcy! Needless to say we refused to accept any applications from her or her husband and flagged all their existing accounts.

Why would any company give a credit card to someone who had already defaulted on $140,000 in other debt?

I just need to pay off 4K and I'll be debt free , only 20 years old but I'm glad I found Dave . I was in debt , credit cards , had fleeced brand new car , and still paying off another car and expensive insurance . I sold the fleeced car . Payed off my other car and cc and I'm on the road to a new start with a financial plan

I have worked in Collections for various types of businesses and it amazes me that so many people actually believe they have no obligation to pay their debts. I just don’t get it. It reminds me of the time I was complimenting an acquaintance on an expensive new outdoor grill, she replied “It didn’t cost anything, I charged it”!
