Manka (Indian physician in the court of Harun al-Rashid-766CE) translated Susrata Samhita to Persian; used by Ibn Sina (Avicenna) whose medical texts formed foundation of European medicines.

They just say that their book writes about astronomy etc becos they have to defend their holy book And understand most basic knowledge itself is incorrect... sun revolving round earth!!? . Do you expect they can have detailed astronomical knowledge like in Surya Siddhant?? No Quran doesn't have astronomical knowledge with calculations. They have legends only about moon and stars and that's not science! Our Puranas also have legends n stories of moon n stars but they are stories about astronomy for layman. They don't explain the science which only Surya Siddhant explains.

0:40 This is excellent, what you stated. The discrepancy is because the "precession" of the equinoces (& concurrently that of North & South poles - precession takes around 26000 years for one revolution, that our ancestors might not be knowing). Due to this, what was "Meshadi" (in fact there is a star, that the Westerners call "Mesarthim" in Aries). The starting point of Solar year (Spring Equinox), fixed some 1500 years ago by Arya Bhatta, got shifted because of it. I wonder if it finds any mention in Surya Siddhanta. The seasons too, rotate (across the calendar) over the 26,000 year period.

@@k.k.c8670have you heard the clip with an unbiased view. It's talking about an astronomy book which gives rules for planetary motions, calculations. Even if you believe western scholars and date this book to be written in 500ce, this itself is a very big deal...Western world even started talking about these things 1000 years later during Copernicus times. But look what the church did that time stamp out Copernicus doctrine...and there is historical proof to plight of Copernicus and his likes...just that folks want to brush these things under the carpet 😂.
