WHY AM I DONG IT THIS WAY?
A lot of channels do Patreon or KZfaq Memberships at a cost to the viewer which puts a lot of content behind a paywall, meaning it is pay to view, and a large amount of the subscriber base miss out on a lot of content, or the quality of the content available to non members reduces. WHO AM I?
I am a BABCP accredited cognitive and behavioural psychotherapist living in the south of England. I specialise in working with people who have experienced trauma to help them move forward with their lives.
On this KZfaq channel I try and make information more accessible by discussing psychological concepts through reacting to popular media.

Been waiting for this song, it's one of my favorites! I think my favorite is Armed And Dangerous or Rockstar In His Prime. 13:54 He grew up in Chicago, Illinois. And then his song "Lucid Dreams" went viral. He moved to California and started making millions. He sadly died on December 8th 2019, just 6 days after his 21st birthday. He pretty went from living with just enough money to get by, to him having so much money he didn't know what to do with it. He could do whatever he wanted pretty much whenever he wanted.

its hard to find words to describe what juice was like, he didnt care for all the materialistic stuff, but he had so much money and his lifestyle sort of revolved around all that. One of my all time favorite artists i still listen to daily.

Keep going man! Juice is my favorite artist ever and I have got him tattoed on my whole calf, smiling. Also I have his motto 999 tattooed three times. I have been strugling with mental health for (i think like) 8 years from now. I am 22, and the combination of therapist explaining what is going in this particular thing, which is Juice and his mental health problems hidden in his lyrics make me really think. Thank you.

about 13:30: I think one of juice's lines in 'Until the plug comes back around' (which I really recommend you listen to btw) is a really good explenation for this: "How much are you willing to spend? This money don't mean shit But I still put them diamonds on my wrist to make niggas sea sick". He basically talks about how he doesn't really put any value to his money, but still shows expensive things/brands (diamonds in this case, but gucci in 'Lean wit me') to make his haters 'sea sick' (or in other words jealous). I hope this helped you understand his line better. Also, great reaction man. I don't mind the pauzes at all, I really think you talk about the important stuff. One song I would recommend you listen to is 'In my head'. Its one of his latest singles and theres a lot to cover (also it's a banger lol).

The girlfriend overdosing scene was just like a scenario in his head, like how he felt might happen if things were to go the way they did and to add more depth, understanding and meaning to the song and earlier in the video you could see juice himself overdosed on rhe floor so it can so be interpret as like he talking about him but in a way that's not easy understood and like explain how much of a mess he was in and that he cannot differentiate between himself and others because of it and you could see two guys wearing ski masks before that which represent his demons so it could also be interpreted as like he already OD'd and now he's seeing his demons and he made up this scenario after he's dead cause he doesn't know it yet and thinks it's someone else that overdosed

15:40 Yes there is a change, in his newer music you can see more expressions of happiness rather than depression, it's sad to think that maybe before his life ended he was becoming happier, and it's sadder to think that he scheduled rehab exactly 2 weeks after his passing previously because his friends and family begged him to go. The party never ends is scheduled to come out in 2024, but Lil Bibby is being a prick and not releasing it because of all of the leaks(which makes no sense, you would want to release it earlier when there's leaks). Also, juice specifically said what he wanted released next( a couple months before his passing) and his label didn't release either song he wanted to be released; it makes me sad to think they aren't even following his requests when releasing his own music.

About 6:30 Juice wrld was a drug addict as you probally know. Lean is a populair mixture of Codeine and Pormethazine also known as purple syrup or purple drank. Jarad higgins died in late 2019 to a seizure due to an overdose of Lean and oxycontin/oxycodone. Hope this was helpfull amazing reactions keep up the great work!

First thing you ask was what is closure and I think it meant both closure from his past pain and if that meant permanent closure then so be it…….he used high fashion to “cover his insecurities” as he has said in other songs and he specifically mentions “went to Hollywood thrills from the street life” to display that he is still the broken kid that was in the streets but now he is rich and can take more risks . That is how I interpret this song.. you ask if there is a journey but i wouldn’t exactly say that for juice i take his music as like notes in a dairy. There is a unreleased song named “we dont get along”in which I believe he talks from the 3rd person talking about him self

And the girl he was talking about who helped him differentiate between drugs and love was Starfire (his girlfriend at the time) but when he recorded the music video they had already broken up and i think he had started dating ally lotti (the final girlfriend) by then so he was probably thinking bout her in the video but yeah he was talking about star who helped him sober up

i honestly have no clue but i do think the party never ends will drop early december, maybe the 1st as music is usually released on fridays and juice’s birthday is on the 2nd so it’d be like his birthday party never ends, it could also be the day he passed, the 8th, for me personally i would do the 1st, but juices label said it is dropping this year

As someone close to him mentioned in the documentary Into the Abyss: Nothing actually changed, as in the problems he struggled with before coming famous are still there. He only has an insane amount of money for a continue supply of the prescripted drugs he already took before he became famous. A poor criminal violent neighbourhood in combination with the fact that he got multiple severe psychoactive drugs presibed varying from stimulants Vyvense to alprozalam eventually percocet. No father figure throughout his youth, which he often relates to being a bastard. No close relatives he could talk about his anxiety within the afro American Community. Lean wit Me is an absolute masterpiece. The lyrics describe exactly what an addicted person is, only thinking about taking drugs and getting high, while the beats and the way he sings give a feeling of how bad it really is and that in the end, it will ruin your life. It really is a good song that finds balance in how an addiction really is and the blessings and curses of drugs

Lean is promethazine and Codine From The Doctors, Store Bought Does Not Have Either In it No promethazine Or Codine BUT Cough syrup from stores will get you high Not in the same way as Lean, Cough syrup from Stores Contain DXM which will get you High as shit not like lean at all though wanna say that Also don't buy ANY COUGH SYRUP FROM THE STORE AND DRINK IT Because Most Store bought Cough syrup Contain Tylenol TYLENOL IS DEADLY SO Make sure it does not have tylenol in it Only DXM Theres tons of Cough syrup without tylenol If you do have a cough tylenol Stops the Pain so thats why They have tylenol in Cough syrups Tylenol is when taken in High amounts is Made into NAPQI It damages the Liver By Stressing it and making it have inflammation

when he says he came to hollywood from the street life I essentially think that means that he started doing drugs due to the street life he was in and now that he is in hollywood the addiction doesn't go away - it only grows as he has more money and access to drugs.

Also at the point of the video where she overdoses. Some people see it as. Its him getting her out the way so he can continue with doing drugs, as he says, "You hate it when I get high, but its where I belong". Therefore he is saying the drugs are more important to him then love. RIP Juice 999
