Fun fact, diamonds are more common in close spaces rather than open ones, that also means that underwater caves have more diamonds since water counts a closing the diamond since it doesn't have a adjacent air block

I was hoping to see someone insane enough to take on this challenge. I've been saying this ever since armour trims were announced. A full museum of every armour trim on every type of armour is more impressive and requires a much bigger time sink than a full netherite beacon! I fully respect the grind! Good luck to you!

Don't forget that it can also work with every color of dyed armor and every shade of dyed armor meaning the actual amount of combinations is well over 5,000 from what I remember.

The silence armor trim has a 1%chance of spawning in ancient citys and they have a chance at spawning under snowy mountains which is rare aswell The second template that spawns at them has a 99% chance at spawning

hey rek, a method I've used to mine netherite fairly quickly is by drinking a fire res pot and just mining beneath the lava, it's honestly so efficient compared to bed bombing or tnt. A thing to notice tho, is that it works in a weird way where it spawns in groups, and then sometines there are gaps of hundreds of blocks until the next piece of netherite. It's a weird method that you gotta have some prep work and it does require some understanding which is hard to explain, but it deffenetly pays of.

I feel like applying higher-end materials as trims to lower-tier armor should be able to buff their defensive values.

You should make an iron farm as soon as possible, and get as much armor as you can from village trades. Silk touch on nether gold or a gold farm would be helpful for the netherite and gold armor sets. You could make a beacon out of the netherite you get during the challenge to show how much of it you need.
