I watched this VOD after completing the weekly challenge, and I must say I am extremely lucky to have had 3 abnormal speed ghosts Round 1: Deogen, only realised this because I looped the campfire and did not die to it Round 2 and 3: Revenant, realised by setting up sound sensors and getting a hunt going and just chilling in the truck while it chases someone in the camp

Always love your Phasmo streams, Impulse! Also, just to let you guys know, you guys made a slight misinterpretation of the polty pile. The Poltergeist exploding the pile is an interaction ability, not an ability that shows up during a hunt. You’re supposed to make a pile of items in the GHOST ROOM, and if it’s a Poltergeist, it has a CHANCE of making the pile explode by throwing all the objects as once, but that’s a ghost ability that only works OUTSIDE of a hunt. It’s an interaction that only has a CHANCE of happening (similar to the Mare’s instantaneous light switch flick, the Yurei’s front door slam, or hearing the Banshee scream), so it’s not guaranteed to happen, but if it does, it’s a dead giveaway that it’s a Poltergeist. Also if you ever plan on testing this, be careful, because the Poltergeist’s multithrow drains lots of sanity if you’re nearby. This would be good to do early on in the game after you find the ghost room, so you can take your time investigating and just watch out if the Poltergeist decides to use this ability. You can still gather items up if you want to confirm Poltergeist during a hunt, but it’d be more effective to distribute them around your looping spot, such as by placing them spread out around the edges of the kitchen counter/picnic tables. What you’ll need to look for during a hunt is the Poltergeist throwing two or three items per second in quick succession, and usually throwing them far, while most ghosts will only throw one.

The board has an error margin of 1 point of the actual EMF. Meaning a 4 jump could be an EMF 3, 4, or a 5. So that 5 jump could have been an EMF 4. What you actually need to look for are 6 jumps. With an error margin of 1 the only EMF it could be is 5.

If you guys stick to no salt pics, at least sometimes, I would be curious to see you use the tier 3 salt strategically since it slows ghosts down and you wouldn’t be doing triple salt. You could get salt stepped in quicker by spreading it out and seeing if you can place it like speed bumps. I’ve been curious about the higher tier salt for a while since you’ve all been stacking the salt for pics!

My sister worked at our local Native American tribe for six years, and they made cleansing sage sticks a lot. It came in handy when my MMA fighter husband came into the bedroom pale as a sheet, claiming to have seen the ghost of a child with a nasty grin staring at him in our living room. The next day my sis gave us the smudge and we cleansed the house, and haven't seen anything since. I'm not a huge believer in ghosts and the paranormal, but I'm enough of one to never use a ouija board, and to use the smudge just as a precaution. Better to be safe than sorry.

I just bought Phasmo this everning/morning (second shift worker, so my evening) and as a brand new player I took a few pictures of door interactions and got 3 star photos pretty much each time. It could be because I was playing on amateur difficulty or perhaps I got lucky. I took a steam screanshot of the photo in my journal, but I took it at a slight angle and focused on the middle of the door. The knob was close to center of the frame but the most central in my opinon is the mortise plate and latch on the inside of the opening. If there is somewhere I can send the screenshot, please let me know and I will be happy to share it.
