@@peebay3515 "she was the only one with access to all the tools used for the murder" is a solid circumstantial evidence that would jail anyone anywhere in the world but Florida, the jury just got charmed by Mr Nice Words. @dualspectrumreality ytilaermurtcepslaud I think the guy meant the word psychopath doesn’t suit what you’re describing. Psychopaths have the disorder due to a genetic predisposition. They feel no empathy and can’t form genuinely loving relationships but they are good at mimicking and understanding human emotions. This is because to them emotions aren’t an actual feeling, it’s just a state someone is in and that’s what they understand from it. The better word to describe her would be a sociopath which is not a genetic trait but instead something that is born from environmental factors (such as never being accountable for anything she has done). Sociopaths are narcissistic and display antisocial behaviour. Unlike psychopaths who may be cold hearted but calculated, sociopaths are impulsive and usually leave a lot of clues when they commit crimes because they don’t understand how others may see them.

Who in their mind thinks it's reasonably sane to act like that! as if you're annoyed/irritated of the fact that people are still trying to figure out where your missing child went! Not only does it show a clear lack of empathy, but it just further proves she did kill her child because the only person who would want to *stop* *talking* about a murdered child is the murderer themselves! The paranoia must have really been getting to her for her to be so unbelievably stupid. And this is where I'm going to say my unpopular opinion. She probably walked free because she's a woman, and a fairly attractive woman, so people just treat her differently! Women already have it fairly easy in the justice system! It's also why you'll still see people defending her online, because only an absolute joke of a human being could believe she's innocent! And yes, people *actually* defend her and even still make news articles on her as if she's somehow a victim. The people defending her are honestly just as bad as she is!

Ugh the prosecution did terribly. When you’re going against a charismatic defense attorney YOU NEVER JUST ALLOW THE FACTS TO SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. This case honestly bears so many similarities to the OJ trial. People didn’t want to believe their beloved athlete superstar was capable of murder, just like the world doesn’t want to believe a mother is able to murder her child and not feel a bit of remorse for it. Instead of clinging to the facts and thinking the jury is logical and educated enough to be persuaded in that alone, they should have focused more on bridging the disbelief to the fact that she murdered her child.

Yup. It’s obvious she is guilty but Baez did a way better job than the prosecution. And unfortunately the jury is only allowed to consider the evidence presented in court. They are not allowed to read newspapers or watch tv so most of them would have no idea of the case beforehand.

Some incriminating evidence was withheld, due to various legal reasons, and there was a general minimum of hard viable evidence. HERE IS THE MILLION-DOLLAR QUESTION: Will you go to Heaven when you die? Here's a quick test: Have you ever lied, stolen, or used God's name in vain? Jesus said, ”Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” if you have done these things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart and the Bible warns that one day God will punish you in a terrible place called H***. But God is not willing that any should perish. Sinners broke God's law and Jesus paid their fine. This means that God can legally dismiss their case: ”For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Then Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death. Today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will give you eternal life as a free gift. Then read the Bible daily and obey it. God will never fail you!

She googled suffocation the same day too. Isn't it fucking obvious? I don't know how that lawyer could defend her and I really don't know how the jury came to the conclusion. Maybe the extremely unrelated "she got abused when she was 14" statement helped it. I don't care what she's been through, all I care is the fact that she killed her own daughter to continue partying. "...how glad I am that she's had both of you" does not imply that Casey knows the child is dead. That is something someone might say when a child has experienced something traumatic and the parent is glad for the love given to the child in the past. Something to be thankful for, considering the situation. We can also make a case that by emphasizing that "she IS lucky", Casey was just trying to reassure her parents that Caylee is still alive, for their own sake. @@catshugging I think it’s basic human empathy to cry over a 2 year old being missing, especially if it’s someone you actually know. Maybe she has nieces or nephews in her own life that are very near and dear to her so it hit home besides just the fact that she was Casey’s best friend

This is so sad. Glad Caylee had good grandparents and people looking out for her during her short life. 29:44: Casey slipped up saying: “Caylee has been so lucky. Caylee is so lucky to have the both of you.” That tense switching could have been an innocent mistake, but it is the way she caught herself and corrected herself that got me.

The doubt raised by the defense was, in fact, not reasonable. This, I think, is why she walked free. The jurors were too ignorant to realize that doubt is not inherently reasonable.
