the Manga is 125 Chapters. At 3-4 chapters per episode, that's 32-42 episodes (about 3 seasons)

Senta Did not say that Sagiri"s sword skills were rank 1, he said that they were first rate meaning very good. Based on Sword skills alone, Sagiri would probably be Rank 5th

Sagiri is good at executing people, but she has very little experience fighting people. In videogame terms she has a lot of damage, but low accuracy, low dodge, low defense, low speed, and no combat skills

@@xblade11230 "low accuracy, low dodge, low defense, low speed" that is way off, especially after watching this episode. Sagiri was fending off the big guy on her own while Gabimaru got his shit together, and decapitated him by aiming between his vertebrae. At this point multiple characters have acknowledged how good she actually is, just lacks combat experience and self-confidence.

The monks they mention in this episode arent just regular people who live in isolation, they are beings that exist in taoist folklore

I haven’t read the manga, but it seems to me that the main villain of the show is probably going to be the chief from gabimaru’s village. Just because he’s the main force causing problems in gabimaru’s life, plus he seems to be being built up as this immortal obstacle. And in episode 3(I think), they mentioned that they’re probably going to send people from gabimaru’s village to the island soon (probably to be new villains). So I could see this series being at least a few seasons, or at least until we see more from that village.

I will say (I won't spoil the actual plot stuff) I just finished the manga and I'd guess they'll have three seasons except the next two will both be an episode or two shorter than this one. Either that, or just one more season that's like 22ish episodes which I think would work better

In terms of Asaemon, I believe there should be 6 or 7 left. Sagiri. Senta, the brother, the blonde guy, bobcut kid, the white-haired guy (these are the ones we know about), but there was also the one assigned to the monk who died in episode 3 by the Bandit (tho I can only assume he died too), but excited to see what the rest of the season brings

I’m really enjoying the monster designs / ethereal nature of the island. The flower themes mixed with death is still my favorite so far.

The whole series takes place on the Island. There is more in play and right now things are gonna get more and more chaotic. The lores about the island and the elixir is gonna be explored.

I don't recall it being stated in the manga that he is a child with gigantism, but he certainly has the mental age of a child and doesn't really understand morals or what he's doing. Think Lenny from Of Mice and Men

My take on the length of the series (I know no more than you, it's one of the few series I only watch but don't read): To me it feels very much like we're still in some sort of prologue. Of course it could still turn out to be just them on the island, overcoming a few obstacles and racing to get the elixir in the remaining episodes and then ending with Gabimaru being pardoned and Sagiri becoming the new head of the clan. However, here's what leads me to believe that this will be a longer series: - talk about "new insects" being released on the island if they don't succeed quickly (which probably means new criminals and/or) - talk about the Iwagakure potentially coming to the island (meaning perhaps there will be a confrontation between Gabimaru and the chief at some point) - established difficulty of leaving the island at all - too little conflict between the meaningful/relevant contestants so far - little development besides the backstories (apart from Sagiri) so far - new mysteries being introduced without existing ones being resolved And that's just what we have from the first few episodes. Right now, my guess would be on there being a few seasons at least, 2x24 or 3x12 maybe, but we might be able to make a better estimate once we have a bit more content.

Well its probably gonna be a show with more then one season its a 127 chapters so probably could do like 2 extra seasons or maybe 1 longer season, who knows how mappa is gonna do it since it and chainsaw man might stay short episode amounts.

Trust and believe me Dani when I tell you, there is a lot more madness that these characters can get into. The Shits haven’t really popped off yet😁😁.
