I think it was an entirely different game on PC. Plus, the next gen consoles of that time (PS2, Xbox, GameCube) all got a better, next gen version of CoS. This was just thrown together for us poor folks who couldn’t afford a PS2. Same assets as Sorcerers Stone, just reskinned. I think only like 30% of stuff in this game was originally created for CoS on PS1.

Man, I loved this game as a kid. I remember near the endgame I just did the Wizard Duels and Quidditch over and over. And I found a random secret area that was so scenic, I never wanted to leave. The atmosphere in these PS1 games despite being all skrunkly and polygonal is for lack of a better word, magical.

Just want to verify that from what I remember, the game was nothing like this on PS2. On PS2, it was a normal cool harry potter game. I mean, had the cool weirs stuff like gnome chucking but it also has a whole segment for diagon alley. These ps1 remakes are wonderfully "unique", I must say. Didn't even know it had a PS1 version until now.
