@@koboldwizardthat would be the most boring boss fight ever. What’s the point if we’ve already done the fight before? We know what happens and what happens next. It doesn’t add to the story like Armstrong vs Sam does. It doesn’t add to any of their characters either. It’s literally the same fight but with the opposing character who already has a moveset. There’s mods for that, we don’t need it in the actual DLC

I didn't know I could turn my camera while in blade mode untill Sundowner. So, all the fights that took place before, including the biggest pain in the ass - Monsoon, - were near-death situations for me cuz I couldn't get the heals every time.

14:54 "when you realize that the song is playing for the main villain and not you" the song playing("it has to be this way") is often considered Armstrongs theme because it plays during "his" fight. However the way the song is played in this fight, with vocals stopping and just instrumental version playing when Raiden loses the sword, like Sams theme would stop with lyrics when he lets go off the sword until he picks it up again, means it's Raidens boss theme. Raiden is the final boss of that game. This is further consolidated in Jetstream Sam DLC, where during Armstrongs fight "collective consciousness"(song from 1st phase of armstrong fight in his metal gear) is being played, not "it has to be this way".

Oh it's all correct but the silly conclusion of Raiden being a boss... c'mon man, get a grip you're not playing as Armstrong but as Jack. 2nd Phase song is Jack's theme indeed also a reflection on the past. I love that those songs are actually written from the character's point of view.

If you manage to make it past the hand to hand combat phase without taking damage it should be easier from that point onwards since you can restart if you take damage

To the final boss, the main reason when he slams you while healing is you attack him from the front, slice where he green energy go through then stuns him for a bit for the grab move, when he's fully yellow, sprint then jump or dodge his grab move.
