After 3 years on the market, the controversial #FordMustangMachE gets its first round of big upgrades. One of the biggest changes is the brand-new in-house developed rear electric motor borrowed from the F-150 Lightning. It gives the #MustangMachEGT a huge uptick in performance, while all versions of the #MustangMachE gets more power and range from the more efficient electric motors and new battery pack. This is what I bought..in white … traded a Volvo recharge… excellent quality outside and inside.. cool design…. Even got a cooler in the frunk 😂😂😂also upgraded wheels..glass roof…my wife loves it… you can’t beat 0% interest for 72 months also an awesome discount 🎉🎉🎉

Love the color. I’ve actually seen a few people towing lite/small trailers with the Mach-E. So I think it’s capable Ford just probably didn’t expect people to use the vehicle to tow.

Color options is one way Ford can compete, many EV makers have very few and very boring colors. Automakers should make a list of all the things they know for sure others won't offer and offer all of them including real leather interior.

Don’t get it . I have a 2020 mustang gt and I got the Mach E fully loaded . They gave me a good price or that’s what I thought . 650 a month for 6 years when they wanted to do 84 months . After a month of having it I hated it . When to CarMax to see how much I could get . In my mind was that if I loose 5 k I’m returning it . Keep in mind I got a good deal on it . CarMax offered 23k . I couldn’t believe it that’s a 20k plus loss in one month . Also it only had 1.2k miles and it perfect condition. That car is a scam

Charging is a bit slow vis a vis the best. It really needs to steal the Hyundai N trick with the fake gear shifts and sounds. Just imagine a Coyote V8 rumble and some fake gear shifts. Would truly bring the engagement to the next level.

Awesome review, have always liked the Mach E design & the color looks fantastic especially in the sun. Ford should go with a spare tire in the front - something nobody else would / could have but they have the space for (that would capture potential Joe six pack buyers...we're past early adopters now). Hopefully they get their battery pack component sourcing / production fixed so they can qualify for the tax credit ASAP, that is costing them alot of money on each vehicle (since they have to offer discounts to compensate).

The best thing Ford did was to make the sunroof optional. Glass heats up the interior too much. Yes, you can run the A/C, but wave goodbye to your range.

I hooked up my Mach -E to my 220V receptacle, It has a 30A breaker. My battery was at 78%. Several times the breaker tripped. 30a at 220V. that is 6600W. Now you leave your car to charge over night. I am waiting to see the increases on my electric bill.

While the frunk is a cool feature the upright luggage door in the rear is even more useful for luggage practicality. So if I have to choose between a coupe stylted CUV like this Ford Mustang Mach3 GT I would prefer something like Chevrolet Blazer or its squarer counterpart Honda Prologue.

Problem with the glass roof (as much as I like it) is that it doesn't close as far as I know and in hot climates (LIke the US Southwest) it gets too hot. You need to buy an aftermarket cover (Farls like GOlf ID4 & Hyundai Ioniq 5's roof has a electronic shader that is great! (I have Hyundai, and in summer time, roof is often closed on the day). LOVE the Rally Trim in new green color! it is a beauty! Also, Rally with Performance suspension, and GT powertrain is PEFECT for me! DOn't like White wheels? Paint them black! or a dark grey (Look at Bronco Everglade in same green with the steel looking graphite tires). Car is a throwback for me. Any WRC fans will see this as similar to Ford Focus RS WRC that competed in FIA's World Rally Championship!. GOod interior quality and good built! HOpefully they upgraded the wiring which was a problem in previous GT version, and added range is nice!

Major problem with the mustang's trunk. There is NO drain. Any rain water that get in there stays. The trunk is slopped so any water run forward on to the car floor.

But right now EV cars are way too expensive, then if you buy one ,it's very expensive keep in good condition. Because if something happens to it.
