This car is beautiful

Sweet ride although I'd opt for a 335i. A BMW doesn't seem like a BMW without the I6 motor although this 4 cylinder engine is excellent in power and efficiency. The interior is nice and hopefully these ride a bit better than the E90 which was a bit punishing with SP and RFTs.

The start/stop is more intrusive than fuel saving. I know the starter and engine has been designed to incorporate this system but I see problems with it down the line. First thing I'd do after hopping in is shut off that stupid system.

That's unfortunate. My Uncle has a 2003 E39 540i and it's been fantastic. The engine did need head/valve cover gaskets and the suspension did need a few repairs but other than that the car is rock solid and interior quality with the exception of the cup holders is amazing. It rides good and takes turns nice and flat.

These are quite expensive. The base 3-series is $34k which is right below my limit. Add the sport, luxury, or modern package and it's up $6k. I don't like how BMW did this package idea. I liked how before it was the 328/335i chose between x-drive and then chose your options. not chose your trim which jumps you up by a load of money, then options. And I think I like the old BMW dash design it looked more classic BMW. Talk about the interior getting worst with every redesign...great video

The best German compact luxury sedan! I find the C-Class and A4 boring. I love this car in "Modern" trim!

The outside is perfect but I think they should have stuck with an interior especially the radio and dash area more like the later part of they previous generation and improved on that. From this video, a lot of the car seems almost like a cheap small economy car

You can argue reliability, they aren't going to be very reliable slamming 400+hp. The thing is, everyone takes into handling and driving fun. This is why everyone praises the BMW and hates the Infinit M and Lexus LS

A 4 cylinder 3 series sounds like an Acura ILX, a little Volvo, a Buick Verano, or a Corolla with dealer installed leather.

It is not a redesign , it is all new 3 series...

I've not only sat in a BMW, I've owned several. Overpriced garbage. My E36 had what looked like recycled cardboard in the doors as sound insulation. I showed it to a mechanic friend of mine and he was as shocked as I was. The transmission blew up at 30,000 miles, the engine drank oil - legendary German car quality Being a sucker, I bought then bought an E60. More grief. And the diesel turbos blowing has been extensively covered. The Met Police in London blew hundreds of them. FAIL.

That's not saying much because MBs require a lot TLC.
