Today we shall elucidate the Tech Priest of Mars: The Adeptus Mechanicus.
Orchestrating acts of murder and assassination across the length and breadth of the Imperium, these malevolent forces are deployed only with the express permission of the High Lords of Terra themselves.
Slaying aristocrats, heretics and even a Primarch in their tenure, woe betide any soul foolish enough to incur these merciless hidden knives of the Emperor.

Mag'ladroth the void dragon is revealed in the novel mechanicum to be the abstraction the mechanicus venerate so highly. It's ironic for the dragon: he has had 2 perceptions both become their own lives of sorts: the void dragon is a feared god from the days of the war in heaven, something EVERYONE feared. The machine god, the omnissiah if you will, is loved by mankind immensely and seen as glorious in all its forms. The only question remains....how corrupted is the dragon as an avatar currently? Is it still spiteful of all life not like it? Or perhaps it's time with mankind as the perspective giver for it's concept calmed it's avatar to become.... compliant?

there were. during the heresy their where cyborg ogryn that even the astartes couldn't stop Horus had the step in. which might be an answer unto it's self. it also probably has to do with there distrust/contempt of flesh.

The Imperial Aquila is the symbol of not just the Emperor dream of humanity, but also the unity that the Mechanicus has been a vital part of the survival of mankind, because without them the technological might of the Imperium would have been eroded away to nothing and the many wars of the Imperium would have ended in failure without their maintenance of their technology.

From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I claimed the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the blessed machine. Your kind cling to your flesh as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass that you called a temple will wither and you'll beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved. Tech-Priest I have a logical question. Is it Tech-Heresy to create Laser Bolters for Space Marines instead of the usual bullets (as logical proof there are already Plasma Guns)?

The problem is they barely know how to make and maintain the gear they have. Making laser weapons for the marines would be cool but they would have to know how to reverse engineer bolters to do so and that would be seen as tech heresy
