I tried that Chick fil A sandwich after watching the review. It was the best fast food item I have had in maybe 20 years, his description was right on target. I would not have tried it without the review.

Agree, alot of times "minimalistic" food reviewers dont have that class with them, or try to bring classly style with them, with the Lord, he tries at least and it sticks with him nicely

I think Arby's "Big Game Burger" was the best. I was very sad it did not last longer. In terms of popularity, I'm guessing sales weren't as big as others, but for basic flavor, originality and adherence to Arby's "we have the meat", it was a real winner. Hoping it comes back again soon!

@@chrisparkhurst5158 I don’t eat anymore from the major bottom barrel fast food joints like McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, Taco Bell etc unless I’m pretty much out of options and it’s a gas station snack otherwise while traveling. But I do still enjoy a few that could be considered fast food. Where do you draw the line? I enjoy Moe’s, Shake Shack and occasionally Chick Fil A and Panera Bread

100% agree on the top pick. That sandwich was my favorite of the year as well, and I hadn't seen the review until now. I'm still impressed that Chick-fil-A managed to get pimento cheese to complement their chicken so harmoniously. I look forward to it being released again!

Another video idea to consider in the future: your personal tier list of classic fast food menu items. This would be a good way to see where you place all the most well known menu items that aren't necessarily new but have been around for awhile.

I don't try as many new fast food items, but my favorite from this past year was when Taco Bell brought back their volcano tacos and burritos. I wish they brought them back more often! Happy New Years!

Once again, the best fast food item of the year was the Double Western from Carls Jr., followed closely by the Double-Double from In-n-Out. I love your channel, have for years, but my top 2 haven't changed in years.

Lol fair enough. I'm not a fan of Western burgers but that's just preference. Carl's does have some good burgers, but I'd lean towards the sourdough jack at JITB. Of course, the double double from in-n-out is great!

My list: 5. Venti cup of ice water from Starbucks. 4. Restroom lock combination at Wendy's. 3. Free ketchup packets at Burger King. 2. McRib expectorant medication (cheaper than Ipecac syrup). 1. Industrial grade french fry lubricant from Five Guys.

I have to agree with the KFC nuggets. That fill up box is a new staple for our family when we go there. Another thing I really enjoyed was the Al Pastor Chicken at Chipotle. I really slowed down in going there since they got rid of it (in addition to the horrible quality control) 😢

Glad you released this video, gotta admit I'm impressed Taco Bell got featured more than once to prove wrong those that talk trash about them just for the sake of it. I’m maybe in a minority, but I like a nice greasy JITB taco on a head to head vs the basic TB crunchy taco. They both need their respective sauces though, kinda sad without. Still, TB has so many other things to choose from, so if I want more than a basic taco I’ll go to TB.

Fantastic video! Loved both the worst and best of 2023 videos. Would love to see this each year! I do also feel like it'd be really fun to see a worst and best of particular restaurants -- not just within a single year but an all-time deal. That may be a great deal of work, but it's something to consider if you ever want to try something like this again without waiting until the end of the year.
