Dortmund is great at taking players with star potential and getting the best out of them. We saw it with Haaland, Bellingham, Sancho and many others. Amazing club for development

He didn't really Bosnia had a good team then and at the time the Bosnian fa and managment wasn't split with ethnic problems . Majority of the team played in bundesliga but it was an old team and with problems no young players coming through and Serbs Bosnians not willing to fund or play for Bosnia

This has easily become a routine for me now. The best podcast around. But Where's the Gazza episode? I recently watched the BBC documentary on Gazza and it opened my eyes to how he was mistreated by the media and can't help but think how that had a huge negative affect on him as a player and person. Glad to hear he's doing good. Absolute legend! (even though I'm a Gooner and he played for Sp*rs)

Shearer or Kane... Put Shearer in todays footbal with todays technology and doctors, if he didnt have those bad knee injuries he would be even better. Kane is more versitile id say, but Shearer was deadly as hell, whenever he turned to goal, ready to smash it... you knew the keeper is not gonna have fun .

Dortmund are better because they’re an actual team now. When Haaland and Bellingham were there it was obvious they thought it was beneath them. They’re both elite players but it was obvious from Day 1 they were using them as a shop window for a big move. Now everyone at Dortmund actually wants to be there and achieve for the club. It’s like it was in the Klopp days. Terzic is fostering a great family atmosphere in his team and got them playing for each other. As for the most selfless thing a player has done, it’s not for a teammate but a rival. Di Canio saw the Everton keeper go down with a bad head injury and instead of trying to score into an open goal, he caught the ball and stopped the game so he could get treatment. It was five minutes from time with the score at 1-1 and West Ham needed the points. Stuart Pearce and Harry Redknapp were furious with him for doing it, but Everton nominated him for a FIFA Fair Play award which he won and they presented to him in the reverse fixture. A truly classy gesture from him!

Super Subs : 2002 Iker Casillas in CL final, has to get in the pitch for Cesar and saves three clear shots. 2022 Rodrygo Goes scores two goals as a sub against City in one minute to send the game into extra time (He had already scored a critical goal against Chelsea as a sub, after that wonderfull pass from Don Luka Modric)

It's a funny old game, Linekers net worth is supposed $20 mil after all that career, Walkers crisps ads and numerous bars named after him in places like Magaluf but players on $20 mil a year now. (She also has a thing for Gary!, not related to WiM). The piano riff before Barnes' rap is sublime. Also Andrew Weatherall (rip) did a great remix too. Three lions reminds me of the summer I left school and watching the semi v Germany on a campsite in Spain with my mates but I'm not a huge fan of the song.

I dont think that dortmund are a better team without haaland and jude bellingham personally speaking 🤔 I am not a dortmund fan but they were challenging for the title last season ok granted bayern munich were declining they should of won it actually where as this season they are down in fifth place and they got thrashed at the weekend my a relegation fighting club mainz 🤔 I know they are in the final of the cl but people forget its a cup competition ie anything can happen on any given day I hope they win it when they play real madrid tho personally it would be nice to see the outsiders win it as a neutral and it would be good for football imo I am not confident that they will win it but I hope they do anyway 😁

Better? Bottled the league last year and this year Leverkusen wins. History of losing in CL Finals. Madrid is in the final and City won with Haaland last year? What you saying? They weren’t better when they sold Lewa, Kagawa, Hummels, or when Mkhitaryan and Gotze left for free. I root for any team to beat Bayern in the league and Madrid in the final but this team doesn’t have the cache to make me believe but I hope they win because I hate Madrid and this is their competition.
