If I could bottle up Micah's laugh and inject it, I would. I've been having a difficult time mentally and listening to this, especially Micah, made me smile and laugh. So, I thank you guys very much and so glad to find this podcast

Lineker is Ballon d or runner up in 1986. Shearer is Ballon d or second runner up in 1996. Neither of them is swapping their careers with Micah

What a bloke , Gary Lineker. Whom i actually met in , Barbados. My brother Jeremy runs a water sports business. Gary was a customer, and being a former Spurs fan myself, my brother said “ there’s Gary Lineker” I met him and had a ten minute conversation. Up the Lineker!!

Their careers are very different and admirable. But, I’d take Gary’s. I love what Shearer did at Newcastle, it’s really not about medals and money. But Gary was a lovely player, so gifted and a proper sportsman.

This is such a great podcast. As a Villa fan, I know, while Micah didn’t play his best football at Villa, but he’s known as a positive influence in the changing room. Three legends.

Age 43 (ok that is old) but I remember Lineker very well and his goal in the semis against West Germany is always stuck in the memory. Superb finish. 👍🏾

I’m always baffled that they always seem to forget each others stories. We’ve heard probably 95% of all this on the previous top 10 podcasts but yet I still watch them 😂

Crazy how little Alan and Gary won considering how good they were as strikers.

Micah mentions this around the 12 mins mark,..and I agree fully. Match of the day is the BEST punditry highlights program in any sport, world over EVER. And I have travelled the world watching all kinds of sports highlights programs ...the reason why I say this is because,... you all know what you are talking about and explain it in such a way that the man on the street can understand.,.. You have all been there and have done it yourselves, ....and to top it off, you are all good mates and enjoy each other's banter, and take the piss out of each other with a laugh. And as a viewer, it is so entertaining to watch. Even my partner who hates football loves to see guys talking to each other 🙂 You guys are by far the best,....and it doesn't even look like you are trying.

Brilliant that Gary Shearer and Big Meeks have started their podcast as Match of the day 10 show they do together is brilliant they have terrific chemistry I missed the start of the podcast series so I'm watching them backwards started of earlier with Fabrizio Romano , every episode is hilarious .

Brilliant podcast this, Shearer and R9 or Shearer and Rooney would of been my dream partnerships and both some what almost happened, Sir Bobby wanted Shearer at Barca and Newcastle wanted Rooney before he went off to Man Utd but I would of loved to have seen either of those at the Toon
