My Peugeot 205 (you may have seen it in the ditch in the campsite at Shelsley Walsh that one time). Bought it off Grunty for £150 5 years ago, it's taken me to Scotland and back, across France and back, deepest darkest Wales, Bristol to London and back numerous times... It's had a new head gasket (done on a mate's drive), a new wing (done in the street), a new driveshaft (done in the street), a new clutch (done with a lot of help from a friend), another new clutch (done by a man in a garage. NOTE: buy cheap, buy twice), a £20 scrapyard alternator (fitted in the aforementioned ditch), servicing done in the street and on the drive. It just keeps going. I've put another 20-odd thousand miles on it and loved nearly every mile of it, and I think I'll be keeping it until absolutely forced otherwise.

Best car I've owned I think I have to say is the Honda FRV, it does everything it's asked to do exemplarily. I like to think that the passenger compartment format (3x3 six seater) makes it marginally interesting, and kind of a good Fiat Multipla. It's got me to more Gatherings and Weekenders than any of my modified cars did. There'll always be a place in my heart for the W123 Coupe and the K11's but there's no doubt that the boring family wagon is the better car. It's just not (and never will be) low over cool wheels.

The original forfour is a mitsubishi colt underneath, hence 4x114.3 :)
