Hands down, this is the best example of doing anything. Instructions were so on point that even, I who don't work on cars, was compelled to try and successfully replace my 1st thermostat. The tool, over cost me less than a $100. Better yet, I didn't have to wait on a mechanic, have my car towed nor rent a car. This is the kind of content that the world needs. 🙏🏿🙏🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

any tips on keeping the gasket in place? My second time around and gasket has no sticky side.
@luckysdiygarage2 ай бұрын
You can add a slight coating of silicone on the thermostat housing side and place the gasket on top and that should hold it in place when your installing it or you can slide two of the thermostat housing bolts on the housing then put the gasket on then thread the bolts in while keeping the gasket in place ..hope this helps

Hey I wanted to ask if my Infiniti only runs hot when my AC is on does that mean I need a new thermostat?? Please I need the help
@luckysdiygarage7 ай бұрын
Good morning. I would check the coolant level, and if that's okay, I would check the operation of the cooling fans.. When you turn on the ac, does the fans kick on

Ok, then I would make sure that the system was bled correctly cuzz alot of the times its that one stubborn air pocket that wont leave the system and yes, I would checked the thermostat to see if it's stuck close or open and it can possibly be a bad water pump that the propellers are no good .....did you perform a cooling system pressure test to Verify that there is no current leaks throughout the system..
