You should do a video on the complete electrical system of a vehicle, including battery, starter & solenoid, alternator, and ignition, lights & accessories, what’s powered by the battery vs the alternator, starting vs during operation, etc.

Electronic thermostats are more complex and require more maintenance. A purely thermally operating thermostat keeps the engine in the desired temperature range without the need for electronics.

I guess the quality of a car thermostat depends on the composition of the wax inside. Or does all wax liquify at the same temperature? I am asking because I was told to buy a specific thermostat for my car.

Thank you for appreciating the work :) I'm doing the project with pleasure, but initially, I had a plan to generate income from it. Unfortunately, it's not making much money yet. If I manage to make it profitable, I'll immediately expand and look for people to help. There are a lot of plans in store :)

This of thermostat is simple and lasting. My VW golf GTI is using an electric motor type thermostat and it won’t last more than 2-3 years.

These thermostates are very sensitive, if such a small part get stuck you can burn the engine in under one minute. I really wonder why the automotive industry still did not found a safer solution for it.

In severe cold weather the heater system will not provide any heat, the water circulates constantly through the radiator. I drove a long trip in negative 35C without thermostat, no winter clothing, suffered horribly.
