Our Range Rover Sport's check engine light flashed on with an engine code described as "coolant has not come up to full temperature."
We know that 99% of the time, it is the thermostat o-ring that has slipped off the outside edge of the thermostat, creating a bad seal.
This issue is repaired by replacing the thermostat. Watch Doug, our Land Rover Master Technician, as he takes you step-by-step in the replacement of the thermostat for a 2006 - 2009 Range Rover Sport Supercharged.
Using thermostat part # LR005765GK, this replacement service is also valid on the Range Rover Sport and Full Size, 2006 - 2009, along with the LR3, 2005 - 2009. Please refer any questions or comments to 1-800-533-2210.
