it wouldn't be nice to attach a cows tail to the deviation's carabiner before unclipping your lines?that way you don't have to carry with you a broomstick with a hook on the end! :)

😂 Good call. At assessments that is what everyone does. It is what most get taught and also what I try to explain in my courses. You should be able to get the rope back into the anchor. But a single deviation is there to position yourself to a workspot. There should not be any danger whatsover below or behind you.So if you would let go, you should be able to re rig it as you would have done when installing it. Or just descend down. No problem, well maybe it will cost time. It is not a safety issue.

Thought exactly the same-that's how we did it in training. Much safer if you lose the grip!

I’m anxious to see you get to level 2 and level 3 maneuvers. People have very small differences in them from all over the world it seems like.

Especially the L2 rope rescues are fairly basic and options are limited. That is why the differences are small I guess. There are a couple of ways to make things lighter, or less gear intensive but the basics stay the same. On the first pass I will show everything with just the basic kit we have on us. No prussiks, rope clamps and pulleys needed. In the future we will be getting in on more fancy gear and some fancy techniques as well. Because in training you sometimes do things just because you can 😜😜

Maybe put your mic on your helmet? Less unnecessary noise maybe. Excellent video, safe and simple
