I demonstrate step by step how to prune, shape and train overgrown climbers as I train 4 climbing roses at a historical plantation.

Thank you, Kimberly! This is incredibly helpful. I have watched many videos from other rosarians, but the quality of this video and your thoroughness, makes it the most useful I have seen! Thank you so much!

Loved the music in this video, and to see the before and afters! Do you think you can give us an update on them once they’ve bloomed? Also, I may have missed it, but how were the canes adhering to the house wall?

Hi Kim, This is very thorough and helpful video. You have explained everything so nicely.I just wanted to know the name of the product which you are using to seal the canes after pruning.

This was incredibly helpful, next spring I will surely use this technique. Quick question, I went from a wood fence to a vinyl paneling fence. I’m not sure how to support the canes, they currently hanging lose and on top of the fence. Any advice is appreciated. I tried using a net but the canes are too thick. Thanks again for all your help 💕

Hi Kim, what kind of dormant spray you used? Thank you

My roses have some new grows now and I wonder if the dormant spray will hurt the new shoots?

The directions also have a dormant strength and a growing season strength. I think that there Is some overlap in the two bands that you can use at your discretion, in addition to making sure you avoid the heat of the sun D times when pollinators are out.

@@TheRoseGeek can you do a quick update on those? Maybe just a FB post to watch those lateral blooms shoot up and possibly blooming. And, looks at you Mrs. bilingual! Did you get a translator app or do you speak spanish ? I was planning on going to the Raleigh art bloom too. I would have made more of an effort had I known you would be there since it’s only two hours away from me. Next year!
