Car is lovely, I have almost the same spec. To be just perfect my advice is to spray paint in silver those rear drum brakes and there's missing few caps on wheel screws. Ofcourse, if you want to go one step further, there's some beautiful aftermarket multimedia for those fabias... Good job, cheers 👍

You are a brave man giving a car a hand wash in the winter. I usually fill up both the "suds" bucket and "clean" bucket with hot/very warm water - makes it quite a nice experience. Plus if you don't end up with more water on yourself than the car then you are doing it wrong.... 😲

Great job, very impressed! During playback, noticed the wheels turning purple; what you used on the wheels got at iron oxides. Engine detail very nice; rinsing off, a lowest setting on the pressure washer is fine for the engine, you don't full force. And washing over snowfoam excellent. I would definitely clay bar before selling, get all the fall-out from the paint, will definitely help before waxing and buffed.

I like the detailing stuff mostly but I like all your content (you could do with a steam cleaner if you get a job like this interior again as it will sterilise as well, and can be used on seats that don't really need a full wetvac) - originally found you for the mechanics back in the fiesta and mini days (as I was choosing between them). Bought plenty of YumCar stuff now (original range and towels) from seeing it here and I really like it. Use it for other stuff off the car and in the house too. Even did a PC with the Dress to bring it back to new. Yes, I have a detailing problem! Good luck to all in the giveaway, whoever wins you WON'T be dissappointed. Nice work James I enjoyed both parts. That undress and detailer spray I haven't tried.....yet. Think a purchase is in order in the near future.

The Skoda is looking really lush now after that clean. My 1 Series is well overdue a good detail but because of the weather I can't get motivated enough. And it is especially more time consuming if you're waxing and buffing a car by hand in the cold. Most waxes are hard to apply and even harder to buff off if the temperature is really low. You should check out Car Cleaning Guru for more information on car detailing and techniques that will help save you time for the future. He is really good at what he does and emparts a lot of information.

Can confirm ive used their Dress product, its good but leaves a very very very slidey shiny finish. Transformed all the plastics in the engine bay. Worked to an extent on the wing mirrors too which def looked better than they did but did nothing ot the roof plastics as they were too far gone I think.

No ! Don't use a pressure washer on the engine. Only use running water from an open hose to rinse it off. Why ? Because the electrical connectors in most engine bays are only really 'splash proof', not 100% waterproof. If you *force* water into them with a pressure washer you run the risk of intermittent electrical gremlins. Trust me, I speak from experience.

It is a good job you cleaned it when you did, it can't have been long after you filmed this that it turned freezing and snowed for a couple of days! That's probably added £400 to the value of that car. Whatever condition the mechanicals are in, if it is dirty, then the value just plummets, because people think it isn't cared for. Personally, I wouldn't dress the tyres, I prefer to see nice clean matt tyre rubber. Gloss just reminds me of backstreet car dealers, they never look shiny like that when new.

I suspect the previous owner of the Skoda may well have worked on building sites or a farm judging by the amount of muddy muck it's picked up... It is worth saying that it's much more pleasant to use warm water to wash your vehicle, the shampoo tends to work a bit better and, if you're doing it on a cold day as here, you don't freeze your hands off. I'm sure plenty of people have washed their vehicles on a cold day, or even a nice summer's day, and gone back inside with what feels like a block of ice at the end of each arm, which is not pleasant, especially when they start to come back to life... It's nice to see a UK company making quality washing and detailing products. Their products have really lifted the Skoda...

Been watching your video on your Skoda are you going to do the back wiper to me hasn’t gone into park position consequently if you’ve got central locking on there that will affect that eventually because what happens is the jet wash that comes from it starts to leak and drip down onto the rear lock that was always the case of Audis and Volkswagens and then you find your central locking starts playing up and that’s what causes the rear wiper to go wrong just a thought enjoy the video
