It's so clear football people have looked at Zirkzee, looked at the lack of options we had the past few seasons, looked at the players we want to build around, looked at the kind of football ten Hag is known for but has been unable to play, and said "yes, this is the first missing piece". If we get a pair of dynamic, progressive, ball-playing CB's and a young, fit DM with a solid passing game, that won't get caught on the break, it will be the single most successful recruitment window we've in the post-Fergie era...... .....I won't even dare to dream we'll also get a pacey, technical left back. I always expect there to be a glaring problem in our squad, as is tradition.
