I got my cheap ebike($400) from costco. To go 24mph. Had to change the battery from 36 to 48 volt. Then changed the controller to 48 volts 20 amps. Spent around $200 for the upgrade. (Batter plus the controller.) Stock is around 14mph. Contacted the manufacture in china. Saw they had a model that went 24mph. Sold in Europe only. Looked exactly like the US version. Only faster. So ordered the parts from them. Plug and play. No rewiring need. Can even lock the bike with Bluetooth. Lights turn on and even cruise control work. They gave a one year warranty also. So don't throw these in the garbage after the batteries dye. Make them faster. There easy to fix also. Wear a helmet and gloves. Because when or if you fall you instinct is to break your fall. So you going to loose some skin off of your hand. Seen people after falling of a bike.

AND SO IT BEGINS! Legislation has been introduced in New Hampshire to classify any ebike THAT GOES OVER 15MPH as a regular motor vehicle and require registration, plates, licensing and insurance. And thats just the beginning. I've been warning about this for a year and YTers like this who post videos encouraging speeding, reckless riding and altering the safety protocols while aimed at teens are partly responsible. Look for similar legislation to be proposed in most other states over the next 12-24 months. A few Jeff Spicolis and 20%ers ruined it for everyone.

💥NO MORE EXCUSES! This is an excellent review showing means to "GET ME OUTTA HERE!" At these prices and foldability of these EVs, it looks like any excuse for a decently healthy, single adult to be able to Get-Out-of-Dodge where they work when a critical incident has disabled vehicles on the roadways have been eliminated. EVERY True Believer Good Steward should have a means to get back home to take care of those that God placed under their stewardship.❤
