Years ago I was on a flight from Lagos, Nigeria back to London, England. I got talking to a lady at the gate and this is when blackberries were still a thing - she said she accidentally messaged a lady in South Africa and then they realised they were talking to complete strangers, however they kept talking and struck up a friendship and she was flying to South Africa in a couple of months to go and meet her because they had become quite good friends

I LOVE THESE! I have volunteered and brought someone home for Thanksgiving for over 30 yrs now. My Mom has never said a word, other than "There's always enough for everybody." She makes their to-go plates, BEFORE round 1. Be A Blessing! How the world should be. ❤️

Once i was cosplaying an anime character at a con and this family with a little girl, who clearly didn’t know anything about anime or cons and we’re just passing by, approached me in the street and the mom asked me if I was dressed up as an American Girl Doll (school uniform, long blond hair in pigtails, beret, etc). I apologetically said no and that I was character from an anime. And the mom gently pulled the little girl out from behind her (she was so shy she hid behind her mom’s legs but she was peeking up at me in pure wonder) and pushed towards me and explained that her daughter loves American Girl Dolls and that she was so excited to see me and could she take a picture with me. Of course I said yes! I was so touched! And so I kneeled down to pose with her and y’all this girl was so shy but it was obvious that she was so so so excited to see me! I’ll never forget that! Absolutely made my day!!

Glad everyone has a happy ending!

My mom recently sent a baby shower invitation via text to a wrong number and the person who received it asked if he was still invited after my mom apologized for the mistake. He even joked about already looking for a gift cause he'd gotten really excited, and then my mom joked back that the money amount for baby shower gifts was a minimum of 1,000$. Lmfao. 🤣. I suppose we'll see in a few weeks if he'll actually show up or not. Haha. 🤣.

Long ago right after my divorce, I changed my number so I wouldn't have to deal with my ex hubby bugging me. Shortly after I got the new number, I kept getting messages from females calling for some guy who once had that number. I ignored most of them. Most would call either drunk or high. One day I had one calling me screaming at the top of lungs calling the guy names. Wtf! Right after I got a call of his landlord. So I called the landlord to let his tenant about the messages I was getting and asking him if he could get them o stop calling me. He let the guy know and the guy called me to ask for their numbers. He got a new phone after his was broken. He mentioned that those women were always calling for money so they could get their booze or drugs. Some stole from him. The one screaming robbed him and he called the cops on her. No wonder why she was screaming. Lol I later learned that he lost everything bc of them. So I gave him everything in my storage unit bc I was moving to another state and wanted to get rid of the stuff tgat was from my marriage. I figured he could use the stuff or sell them. A year later someone broke into his place and took most of the stuff I gave him. Sad that the guy still getting bad luck from thieves. To this time we still keep on contact. Hope his life gets better someday
