Usually when a seller takes longer than 10 seconds to give you a price it will more than likely be way too high.

Hey Matt... always look up old style hard hats. I've sold 2 for over 450 each now. Paid a buck a pop. Always grab metal "hard boiled " ones. Look em up, you'd be surprised

I really look forward to your videos, Matt. The way you talk to people and deal with them, is respectful and gentlemanly. I admire that. It’s certainly a trait that some other KZfaqrs lack. They have a greediness to their approach and also think that people holding yard sales ought to price their items with resellers in mind! That’s not why people hold yard sales. They then often talk badly about the seller and post it on KZfaq. It makes them look bad, in my opinion. You are completely the opposite! I appreciate your tips, research, the work you put in to your videos and your sense of humour. Keep being you! Thank you, Matt. 😊

I wouldn't take the dolls for more than 10. I have had several and they don't sell so good. BUT, seeing your comps, I am seeing/learning that lotting them up is the way to go.

I recently picked up two wiring harnesses at the thrift for $2 each. They were writing harnesses for navigation systems for specific semi trucks. Pretty unique parts. Sold both on eBay for $111 each! Thank you eBay search function!

Those things you are calling propeller is actually called boat props , And if you can get them for a pretty fair price and in good condition,You can always sell them for decent money,People hit stuff and tear them up or they want certain ones to fit their boats the best

It’s amazing to me how little some of these vendors try to give reasonable prices. It’s so obvious the guy looked up the beer tap on eBay, saw someone ASKING $100 and thought “yep, that’s what I’m gonna ask at the flea market today, ezpz”

I use to do this kind of thing on eBay when I lived in the states but with motorcycle parts only. I got my parts by walking neighborhoods looks for people with a bike under a tarp or setting on the side of the house and would offer them a little more than scrap value then part it out on eBay made good money.

Back in the early 2000s that’s all I used to do or sell car parts mostly mustang car parts. Unfortunately the city started getting on me harassing me and I had to switch up what I was doing to other products.

Auto swap meets are the best, but some guys are hard to deal with and think they have gold!! Like I said i before I started out doing auto swap meets since my dad owned a body shop! I’m talking late 80’s. Fun times and now I need to get back to them looks like!! There’s so many variations for the Holley carbs!! But you got some deals and that’s the way to learn!! Car parts are easier to with than clothes on eBay, that’s for sure!! ❤

It seems that many vendors just dont want to have to lug their wares back home. They have no real attachment to their stuff so they are ready to deal. Bargain heaven...lol
