Mainly Bugs Bunny cartoons. I selected a few I remember liking the most as a kid (but there are A LOT. It was tough narrowing it down.) Maybe I'll do more in the future if you guys want.

@@AlanCanon2222 - I think Chuck Jones said that quote. Let's also thank Arthur Q Bryant for Elmer Fudd and Stan Freberg for several other characters like Junyer Bear.. They could only afford to have one actor credited in the beginning or something, so they stuck with Mel Blanc 99% of the time.

While I loved all the looney tunes cartoons, I had a particular fondness for the ones directed by Robert McKimson. He was the only guy to be with WB studios from the beginning of Looney Tunes to the end, and he was the one who really refined Bugs' character design in the 40s. He also created great characters like Foghorn Leghorn, Tasmanian Devil and Sylvester Junior. I always loved his "barnyard" cartoons that featured interplay between Foghorn, Sylvester and the Barnyard Dog character. Too funny!

This is so awesome you reacting to these wonderful cartoons! I'm a huge fan of Warner Bros. cartoons and all the cartoons of that golden age era...Disney, MGM (Tom and Jerry, Droopy, Tex Avery cartoons), Universal (Woody Woodpecker), Paramount (Fleischer cartoons - Popeye, Betty Boop, Superman), 20th Century Fox (Mighty Mouse and other Terrytoons), United Artists/ Depatie -Freleng (Pink Panther), and all the others of the golden and silver ages up to the UPA cartoons (Gerald McBoing-Boing) with their new minimalist style. But Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies are by far my favorite! The era when cartoons were originally made to be seen in movie theaters, not TV...these cartoons were given time to be made and animated, the stories told limited to only the imagination of the writers and artists. These cartoons are so special! I guess some of my favorites are: One Froggy Evening Duck Dodgers in the 24th and 1/2 Century Haredevil Hare Rabbit Fire Rabbit Seasoning Duck! Rabbit! Duck! Hair Raising Hare Duck Amuck The Three Little Bops Walky Talky Hawky Tortoise Beats Hair Odor-able Kitty Feed the Kitty Muscle Tussle Design For Leaving Super Rabbit Stupor Duck The Prize Pest Daffy Dilly The Mouse That Jack Built Hare Tonic Bugs' Bonnets Hare Brush I'm sorry there are just *so many* good ones I could keep going on and on! One last thing, have you seen Who Framed Roger Rabbit? If not, you need to! It's a love letter to this era of cartoons and any fan of Looney Tunes needs to see it! Best Regards!

This was so fun, Kay! I love that I NEVER know what you're going to react to next!!!! The bullfighting short reminded me of "Ferdinand The Bull" the Munro Leaf book that Walt Disney made into an excellent short in the 1930s. There's a suggestion for ya! Early (pre 1938) LIttle Rascals ("Our Gang") shorts and early (pre-1934) Betty Boop cartoons would love to see as well, especially the Our Gang. You're so much fun to watch these with, Kay!

I've been watching all these since I was a little kid and now with me being a songwriter, musician, vocalist and body builder I still watch them and find them hilarious. And along with cartoons like Tom and Jerry's "Fit To Be Tied" and Droopy Dog's "Champ Chump" and Tex Avery's "Rock-A-Bye-Bear" all this stuff is just to funny. You know...when you give your Mom and Dad the grandkids they have been wishing for on every birthday cake candle blowing...you can watch these kinds of things more often ;) And yes, "Toro" DOES mean "bull" in Spanish. Know you like Brendan Fraser, so LOONEY TUNES: BACK IN ACTION could be fun for you. I have the book: DISNEY ANIMATION The Illusion of Life written by two of the "Nine Old Men" (original Disney animators). It's big enough to prop up a ship in dry dock, so I'm not through it all yet. But I HIGHLY recommend it.

Most of what we think of as "Looney Tunes" are actually "Merrie Melodies", which was a play on what Disney was doing, "Silly Symphonies". As a kid, in the 80s, I paid close attention to the roman numeral copyright dates on these cartoons and over time figured out that "The Best" WB cartoons are roughly made form about 1938 til about 1955.. Before that and they're still figuring out their style, after than and it cheap animation and recycled gags. Tex Avery and Bob Clampett were the guys that kinda invented the insane "Warner Bros." cartoon humor style in the late 1930's and the WW2 era, and Friz Freling, Robert McKimpson, and especially Chuck Jones (who directed the Bull cartoon) would define the style in the late 40s and 50s. Chuck would go on to direct the animated GRINCH special, and make cameo appearances in movies by Joe Dante (Gremlins).
