I tested Haltane a week ago and I really like it. I was surpised since I don't like certain woody fragrances, like Dior Homme Intense. But Haltane smells a bit more smoky for me. The oud is also very decent.

Rule No. 1: You never wear a scent because you think than women will like it. You wear it because you like it and it makes you feel good. That projects better who you are and makes your actions more congruent. Rule No. 2: What a women says she wants and what she really wants are two different things. Women communicate covertly and that applies here too. I have had a girl telling me that she likes sweet scents and hates fresh scents. So, I purposely wore fresh scents when I was around her and she complemented me on „how good I smell“. Create tension and break rules. Do what YOU want Not what you think girls want you to do.

Hey Demi! Glad that you mentioned the similarities between Haltane and Sauvage Elixir. Different scents but built in a similar fashion. I thought of this comparison while Haltane was radiating off a tester strip and bought it afterwards.

This is one of her best videos (not that she has any bad ones). First I want to start off by saying I fell in absolute love with Santal Complet by Fragrance Du Bois. You hit that one out of the park. I’m on my fourth bottle… thanks. And I can co-sign the Vanille Havane. Another recommendation that was a score for me. I been wanting to tell you about Santal Complet for a while now and kept forgetting. As for your fragrance… you know I love it… BUT (and this is not a demand) you should consider just calling it Demi. I’m on my fifth bottle of it and I recommended it to six of my friends and we all just call it Demi. “What are you wearing tonight?” “Oh, Demi… what about you?” Just recently one of my friends started calling it “D.R.” Which is growing on me. Of course I’m not telling you to go out of your way to demand that a luxury house change all their marketing, and the website info about the product and all that just to abbreviate the name. For me Haltane is very similar to Oud for Greatness by Initio Parfums (same parent company I believe). Very rich and sweet. But performance wise both are outdone by Oud for Glory by Lattafa, and at a fraction of the price. I have Spicebomb Extreme and love it in the winter, but also the similar smelling Man in Black from Bulgari. I love the added rum note of MiB (I love rum in general!)

I'm basic I just use 4 fragrances. Mostly year round I use Aventus Cologne and LV Imagination and for colder weather Spicebomb Extreme and TF Tobacco Vanille (about to run out of this bottle will check out Vanille Havane to see if it's better)

I just got Haltane, and I thought I was the only one who thought about Elixir! There is a similarity in there that I can't quite put my finger on. Both fragrances give me a vintage feel.
