More frolicky sunny meadow vibes books: 🌸 The Secret Garden: To me, this is the epitome of cozy spring feels. Tending to a garden and watching it come alive; cozy food like homemade bread, milk, honey, eggs, etc; a fun secret carefully kept between three children; said children growing up and discovering more about themselves with the time they spend in the garden. It just leaves you with such a content and wholesome feeling after you've read it. 🌼 The Borrowers: This is the book that Ghibli movie Arrietty / The Secret Life of Arrietty was based on. And i love both the movie and the book so much. The book also 100% has the same cozy vibes, and describes more in detail about the diy tricks used by Arrietty and her family, and it's just a really nice read. 🌸 What Katy Did: This is the story of a hyperactive and irresponsible young girl who meets with an accident and becomes disabled for quite a long time. Doesn't sound very happy but the first part of the book is Katy and her siblings going out with a picnic basket packed by their aunt, and discovering new paths in the wilderness, picking flowers and berries and pretending that they're travellers or rulers of a kingdom. The second half is about how Katy learns to be happy and content even though she can't walk, following the advice of her cousin who is also disabled, and just makes her best of the circumstances she has, working towards a healthier and happier life. 🌼 The Old Curiosity Shop: In all honesty, this book was a bit boring for me because of how much the story drags on. However, it definitely has cozy spring vibes, with the main character and her grandfather having to run away from their house, and travels from place to place, looking for a suitable new home.

The House in the Cerulean Sea is my favorite book, and I've read it three times in the last year during three different seasons. Lol. I actually just checked out Castle in the Air by Diana Wynne Jones from the library for Spring Vibes, because I agree that Howl's Moving Castle is an amazing spring book.
