Ah, the old Rochdale Canal! We took a narrowboat from Sewerby Bridge up the other way twice last year, absolutely loved it. This is convincing me to head t'other way next time.

My old man was from your neck of the woods, though I grew up in West Wales. Have great memories of coming up to Yorkshire and the fish and chips were something else! Maybe it's rose-tinted glasses, but Yorkshire fish'n'chips always seemed nicer!

Fish looked like it had been in the fryer a bit too long, hence the batter being a bit darker and greasier. Otherwise looked great. I quite like peas like that, more like pease pudding than mushy peas. Canal looked a bit murky mind, the shopping trolleys in there must be going rusty 😂

Deano, you need a much better quality 1080p camera or a good 4K one! This one is absolutely terrible, and can't handle lighting at all! It hurt my eyes watching this video, I had to stop it! I've honestly not seen such a bad quality 1080p video since like a decade ago.
