No matter what kind of investor you are, some level of risk is at play. Why not buy a few thousand satoshi just to have skin in the game? If Bitcoin is a scam, then you lost a few hundred. If not, that few hundred could be 15 grand in a few years. No matter what you think of Bitcoin, there will come a time when people are scratching to add a dozen sats to their portfolios.

Okay, I don't have a problem with bitcoin because I own a tiny amount in my portfolio, but I also recognize that it is not an asset that is performing by its intended use. The other thing I have a problem with is CNBC's absolutely botched technical analysis. What he fails to realize is that that wedge can be drawn with ANY bubble to yield the same insights. This is not to say the wedge breakout is going to yield a climb past the previous 20k high in the next few months. The wedge he drew is completely arbitrary and you can draw them any way to prove your point, so what the 'better' analysts attempt to do is draw their wedges in a conservative manner, to predict lighter swings, as this is much more profitable because it's much more likely. Also, this allows the smaller 'horizon' to give balance to the most recent factors driving the market, which tells the story best for future outcomes. CNBC, i hope you pass this message along to your boy over there. He's misguiding people and doing so with fairy tail logic. -Nate Out.

Bitcoin will have an interesting year no doubt. I wish CNBC went over ICOs occasionally, some great projects i've been really eyeing are Fr8 Network and Muirfield IP, i definitely recommend checking them out. Major risk taking will begin eventually.

Ive been hooked as an investor in my spare time since elementary school when my father got me some walmart stocks in the early 80's. I have a small construction company that is my 9-5 income. I own some real estate and some gold, but the crypto market is insane! I have only been invested since July of last year, but if things continue and I pay attention it will be life changing. So much hubub about bitcoin. I bought a couple bitcoins 2 years ago fro $600 each. I am not buying more and I am not selling. Just holding to see what happens. If it goes to zero, then I lost $1200 if it goes to $100K, then I have $200k. The same goes for ethereum, I bought 30 tokens 2 years ago for $300 and plan to do the same. Buy low sell high.

those charts are total BS, there is no triangle setup on higher time frames, go back to charting school. Bitcoin will go up, but it's got nothing to do with the so-called BS triangle setup and not until there is a much bigger dip upon re-testing 10K level (this week).
