In todays video we are having a little look at a couple of Aeotecs Z-Wave devices in Home Assistant. I run through the design of the Z-Stick 7, Multisensor 7 and also the Wallmote Quad. I also share a couple of quick automation ideas.

From playing with this project I have really gotten into Z-Wave. Deffo some more Z-wave specific things in the works. Got any Z-Wave things that you use/recommend?

Good video, I use the Neo Coolcam Zwave motion sensors which are about a third of the cost of the Aeotech ones. The Aotech concealed door sensor is also a great device. I live in Wales and its p*ssing down again.

11:08 whoa! red flag goin' up! if you want accurate wind info, that is not a good place to put that kind of sensor because the house has a MASSIVE effect on the wind. instead, you should put it above the roof, as high as possible.

I know that this is a bad spot. This was purely to test the unit worked. I previously had mounting holes in that exact location from some alarm systems I tested. But thank you 😊 👍🏻
