That last game "Horronomicon" is a pure asset flip. It's called the "Horror FPS Kit", and the level you played is just the demo map that comes with it. The new maps he's adding are the same old maps from the Unity asset store that have been used 18,000 times over the past 10 years. I'm so tired of seeing that hospital, I could puke. Turkey is the armpit of the world for gamedev, I swear (Mount & Blade being the only exception).

It hurts when you know the actual Dev of that fps controller asset and were active on his discord, and then you see shitty asset flips like this with all his work just copy & pasted.

Really great video man. Never seen your channel until today, but you made me sub up by min 3. It honestly sucks that games like this exist. As a small time UN-known indie dev who works his ass off on his games these types of dumpster fires only serve to push my and other passionate small time devs stuff further into obscurity. It's a double edged sword though.. The entry for indie games used to be incredible to get on steam which was a huge barrier for a lot of great titles. Now that barriers gone but it's the wild west there no real verification of quality in any way. I don't think anything can be done to fix this issue without ultimately hurting small time devs. The only thing we can do is work super hard / engage our communities and hope that our passion comes through and people take interest and then find quality in the development / design. My first ever commercial game released on steam in 2019 "The Ai Games" crushes these in terms of quality and it was only ever a learning project at best. It however has a story, has decent feeling combat, few neat systems, linear levels (that at least aren't roads that just stop :P ), and has a run time of about 3-4 hrs for most people and a concluding story. Sure its not great and its nothing special, but it has some light hearted comedy and decent game-play with a unique story that plays out. It was never commercial successful, but I never had any expectations of success it was a learning project to let me learn the ins and outs of shipping a game / updating / taping into steam systems for achievements / leader-boards etc In that way it was very successful for me. At least seeing something this bad I can take solace in knowing that I did better than some stuff. ^^
