After watching this channel for a year, my parents finally let me get a 20 gallon long fish tank. Although, I have to “share” it with my family, so it has some Frosted flake substrate and artificial decor.

Yes wild types are amazing. With the amount of people saying stuff like "betta splendens are some of the most beautiful fish, while their wild counterparts are very dull in colouration" makes me think they've never seen an imbellis, mahachaiensis or channoides

Bettas: only need minimum 5 gallon tanks, in some cases don't even need a filter or heater, live 3-5 years with proper care. Random Facebook moms: No, no. that's too hard. It can live in a pickle jar just fine :)

I currently have my two goldfish in a 30 gallon tank. They have grown quite a bit since I rescued them and I love them so much. I am so excited to finally be moving them into a new, 55 gallon tank.

Love your videos. Millie is a great co-host! Have you thought about getting her a partner? They are extremely social birds and thrive with a partner or in a group (that’s why shelters here won’t let someone adopt a bird like cockatiel, budgie and/or a larger parrot into single keeping). I’d love to watch videos of you with two birds on your shoulders in the future!

I remember watching you as a 13 yr old I didn't have a five gallon or more for my beta but I took good care of her now as a 16 yr old I have a planted 8 gallon for my beta u saved me for fish abuse

I have a sorority of 8 in a 20 gallon highly planted tank. I have hooked a huge canister filter big enough to filter a 6 foot tank. When I ordered the female betta, one came in with a missing eye and a hunch back. They were going to flush her, but gave her to me instead. All doing fantastic. All have places to escape each other, but don't really do that. But have other fish and shrimp in there that distract them. I have a male in a giant, filtered vase. It has a deep scoria, shrimp soil and then sand bed. I quite seriously can't have it more planted. Tried to introduce him to the girls but they picked on him, so simply put him back in his vase.

I used to keep a betta in a 2.5 gallon with rainbow pebbles and fake plants.Unfortunately that betta died after a year. Since watching your channel i have learned so much!!! I've convinced my parents to let me use that 2.5 gallon to set up an amazing tank for a few spoiled cherry shrimp. Ofc Ill add live plants and driftwood this time! Thank you sm!

CHRIS- I just got back from aquashella in Dallas, and in the aquacrib there was a 55 gal glofish tank with some danios and tetras AND 6 MALE BETTAS, one of which had a face so puffy it looked like a goldfish wen. No idea how they weren’t fighting. Oh and UN also put a betta in a 1-gallon tank, even tho it had a nice scape

My work had a booth at a ComicCon over the weekend, and if you volunteered at it (paid overtime too) you would get a exhibitors pass for the whole thing--- it was really fun, but I could have used the 12hrs of rest :/ low energy here. my best friend has been planning out getting an aquarium for her son, and I've spent so much time helping her research and learn all about cycling and which fish make good roommates....and instead they now have a spongebob house, that neon and black gravel and spiky fake plants. And the baby betta has already killed at least one guppy. Tank wasn't cycled at all :9 but I ordered them a bunch of plants and maybe it'll help smooth everything out :( :( :(

I feel bad for my own aquarium, because i share it with my dad, and what he wants is to be as stocked as the aquarium that was full of guppies and a betta...I believe its at the limit right now for a 44 gallon tank :(

I have decided to redo my 30 gallon. I am going to completely empty it of water and save the fluvial stratum and get rid of the layer of gravel underneath. It just needs a new start and a better scape. My 10 gallon has a good scape, and I'm going to use it as inspiration, as well as your tank in the background!

Yo I feel a 5/5 going into this week! Cus im going Rockpooling at my local Beach! Its shrimp season for where I live and gosh darn anywhere you scoop with a net you catch five of them! Also a lot of Blennie's and a few Goby's and these...White bait is what my Dad said they were and they swim in a shoal of like 50 and are super long and when I Finally caught one it it was silvery but Super epic, There were also these fish that looked exactly like Minnows, But SALTWATER lol, Oh and Yesterday, Since my Birthday's coming up, I got Given A METAL NET, It is a trillion times better than a normal bamboo net. It dosent bend even one bit! Im gonna have fun today 😁

i had a canister filter tube bust and almost completely drain the tank of water and soak the floors while i was on holiday. thankfully everything got sorted out and only 1 fish passed away f in the chat for the fish that passed away i still have his skull

Sadly at my aunt's house my aunt abuses fish by putting them in a 10 litter bowl with pink gravel and 2 fake plants. By the looks of the fish they're honey gourami and powder blue dwarf gourami. I tried telling them about cycling and fish tank size but they can't get proper fish-tank products in Bangladesh.

You can actually use a big storage bin as a fish tank. I live in Malaysia and I bought a lot of my fish tank stuff online from shoppee since local fish stores don't sell things like test kits and sponge filters (so annoying since you basically only have the option to use hang on back filters).
