Personally I’d choose the stink bombs over junk rifts purely because of their instant effectiveness of forcing people to move and also seeing that slow 5 damage is funny.

I think one of the biggest downsides to the Post-C2 approach to weapons is how many reskins and redos of existing weapons get made, modelled, used for one season and then thrown onto the vault pile in favour of a new, often weaker at launch version. We need Fortnite to break out the backlog of awesome old items and weapons again. Bows would’ve been a perfect fit for a mythology season!

I just wish the evochrome weapons were in creative, even if they don’t evolve, they were still cool weapons.

in chapter 3 season 2 the railgun and recon scanner came back for a wild week, actually peak gameplay using railguns in a zerobuild season it was so fun

Given the small hints at aliens in the past few seasons, getting the Rail Gun as an exotic in the same vein as The Exotic Storm Scout would be really cool

Grappling Hook from C3S3. It was a spiderman mythic rip-off but it was just fun to use and very balanced

Out of all the guns I would like to return, these are my picks: - The tactical ar, not the crummy one they’ve now added, the og, objectively better one. It’s been my favorite assault rifle ever since it came out, and I was ecstatic when they actually made its sight a real red dot. - The thermal ar (pre change), it was incredibly fun to use, and while people hated it, I loved it. I was devastated when they made the changes to it back in C3 S2, and I haven’t picked it up since. - The boom bow, another really fun weapon, and unique. I remember the days of season 9, standing on top of a wind tunnel shooting everyone I saw in team rumble. - The storm scout, now hear me out on this. The storm scout it a great gun, has a niece but is useable. Only thing that made it worse then all other sniper rifles at the time was it’s inability to one shot head shot. If they changed that, or just bumped the damage up a bit, it would probably be better. - The flintlock pistol, this is an interesting one, as it’s not really used as a weapon, but more so for mobility. While it’s a bit situational, it would be interesting to have it back in the game. - The glider grapple, specifically the mythic one from C2 S3, was insane for movement given you knew what you were doing. It have 3 times the range of the normal grappler, and given you knew where to shoot it, you could get out of any fight so fast. Would be cool to have a slightly tuned down version of it return.

Yes! I don’t think people remember how broken the tactical pistol could be. It sounded so nice too in its purple and gold forms. I would love to see it return

The evochrome weapons were similar to the cube zombie weapons of chapter 2 season 8. Killing lots of people was a good way to collect the cube parts for the mythic cube minigun

C4S1 is one of my favourite seasons Fortnite has ever had. The Battle Pass was amazing with a FANTASTIC tier 100 skin. The season had a really cool aesthetic that I deeply miss, and it had two of the coolest weapons Fortnite has ever had. The Shockwave Hammer (as mentioned in the video) and the Ex-Caliber Rifle. I ADORE these two weapons. They're such cool concepts, and they worked really well. The Boombolt is pretty much a reskin of the Ex-Caliber Rifle, which makes me really disappointed because it's one of my favourite weapons ever. I've heard that people really don't like Chapter 4, but it's one of my favourite chapters because of how unique it was, specifically C4S1, as well. Everything about it was amazing, and I enjoyed every second of it. Like, you can't get a kill from LAUNCHING A BUS at someone after using it as cover now, now can you? The Shockwave Hammer's environmental capabilities were just incredible. You could launch something toward another player and get a kill from it. There is no feeling like that. I got a win from launching a bus at someone by using the hammer. I wish they Epic would utilize their amazing backlog of items Edit: I didn't mention augments, but my God, I miss them. Chapter 5 feels hollow without them. I was fully expecting them to be in the chapter, but they never returned. They made the game so much more interesting, and I think we could really use them again

2:21 The rpg was last in the game in chapter 4 season 1 and High explosives hasn't been seen since chapter 2 season 8. But yea they need to bring back any explosive

I feel like if we had a better pump shotgun this chapter, then absolutely no-one would've complained about the Frenzy Auto. Something along the lines of the Infiltrator pump would've worked great, 90% of the reason the Frenzy Auto was so broken was because the Hammer Pump just sucked balls

Man I miss the perks from chapter 4 season 1 and the utility items alongside them. Really felt like you could make truly unique classes/builds as the games progressed

practically every weapon can be nice to have back if they just balanced properly, that goes for the Pump aswell (80-100 x2 based on previous data seems like the perfect fit) with this Chapter i think a few of the best picks are the Scoped AR, Double Barrel Shotgun and the Tactical SMG, although these are not my #1 favorite weapons i think with good fine tuning it would be interesting and fun to have these weapons back especially if the Scoped AR was like the OG late C1 version Scoped AR can be a weak but extremely consistent super low recoil rifle able to dish insane damage at long ranges Double Barrel would fit the hard hitting like the Hammer but also fast close-up hitting like the Frenzy with the new Mods in the game like Speed Mag, Laser and more and finally the Tactical SMG would just fit better today since it hasnt been back since C2S4 while many others have, another pick is the Compact SMG since it isnt even in Creative but the Tactical SMG can be buffed back to 13 fire rate making it more unique than another slow firing smg (Thunder, Drum and Harbinger) some honorable mentions are the 3 Round Burst, Pulse Rifle, Lever-Action Shotgun, Havoc Shotgun (heavily nerfed of course), OG Burst SMG, Charge SMG (reworked), Revolver, Storm Scout, Guided Missile, and ANY Exotic (all moddable and comes with mods)

The tac pistol was my favorite it's even better than some smgs

I loved the grab-itron. It unfortunately never returned, but it could return in the Chapter 2 OG Season later this year!

I love the enthusiasm talking about the shockwave bow. I have a clip of a 2v8 cuz our squad got wiped and I only managed to pop one reboot. What did we do? Shockwaves the enemy into storm so bad that they couldn’t come back. I think we got even like 3 headshots in that time before everyone died.

I think I agree with almost every weapon pick, except Pump, I think the combat shotgun and Gatekeeper shotgun are perfect replacements for the tac and pump shotguns.

I agree with ur opinion on shotgun meta with pump and gatekeeper but we should add thunder or prime shotgun as a third one

3:40 the ranger pistol is literally a mod-able tactical pistol… well actually ranger has better damage, but less fire rate (by .2) around the same reload time, and an equal magazine size, unless you put the drum mag on

The twin mag mechanic needs to come back! Imagine the twin mag shotgun! One mag, fast firebrate and good damage(5 bullets) and the other mag shots up to 15 meters and deals better damage but the fire rate is slower than the heavy sniper reload.

The last time we saw the RPG was C4S1, then the pumpkin launcher for fortnitemares C4S4

lets push to 10k boiz, also if there's a part 2 you have should include the thunder shotgun, the only reason it Isn't well loved is because it was only in the game for one season, and if they added the thunder shotgun and the pump in the same season I think that would be pretty balanced and not everyone would go from the pump

we need traps! could be damage traps or mobility traps but we need them back in the game

The rail gun and recon were always in the same time they were both in ch2 s7 and 8 and brought back at the end of ch3 s2

if the evochrome weapons gave like 40 siphon it would be good because constantly fighting you dont have many heals but if it gave siphon it would be really good

The last time we got a new rpg was in 2022, not including chapter 5 because the rpg was just an unvault

I think that junk rifts of they come back, shouldn’t be added to competitive cause as we know that due to so many player in the last zones of the game, there are many people in the same column but in different rows and if someone just spams the rifts, he or she would get at least three to four people at the same time

I really do miss the augments, i enjoyed how nearly every game forced a new playstyle, altho gold to reroll is unfair imo

Fortnite needs to stop being so picky about what guns r released and just release guns for the fun of it

I really miss the stark idustries rifle from Chapter 2 Season 4. It was very fun to use and it would fit a Marvel season. Many say that Chapter 5 Season 4 is going to be Marvel themed, so my hopes aren't down.

The junk rift came back during Fortnite OG

i was literally the only person in this games lifespan to see use smoke bombs + thermal to just absolutely decimate the lobby, i would want that back because no one even knows it works exept for the 3 or 4 people who read this

Yea I 100 percent agree with the pump shotgun coming back. The hammer is ass, and Fortnite has not buffed it even after 6 months, so It needs to go and be replaced by a new pump, I would even say bring the pump shotgun back instead. It doesn't even have to be modifiable either. But you know what epic is going to do. They're gonna keep the same pump in the game, not buff it because they are delusional and think it's balanced.

Loved the Aug from C3, hopefully it gets unvaulted one day.

Unfortunately most won’t come back because attachments force all non already projectile weapons to be updated (except for like the rail gun)
