wish Konami would make new super niche games like these, and just "just duel" games

Here in Spain, the promos for that game were one Blue-Eyes White Dragon, one Dark Magician and one Exodia the Forbidden One in the same rarity.

In fairness to Valkyrion, you can "tribute" the pieces from your hand as well, you don't have to have the Magnet Warriors all on the field to bring him out, that was just in the anime.

The fusion is fairly easy to Turbo out if you want to, Alpha can search the materials, you just need polymerization.

The Magnet Warrior retrains got me casually back into Yu-Gi-Oh. They're pretty fun, I like running them as recyclable Xyz fodder.

I doubt you'll see this but I thought i'd leave a comment anyway because the illustration of Beta the Magnet Warrior was something I actually drew years ago. I used draw loads of different monsters and cards and ipload them to reddit and that was one of them. I hadn't played yugioh or had any interest in it for maybe 2 years now as I was finding it hard to keep up with and other things grabbed my attention. As for drawing I lost my motivation for that when I finished my uni degree in animation and illustration and recieved less than ideal results for all the work i put into it and missed out on my honours show duw to the pandemic. But a few days ago I got the itch to get back into yugioh and decided to watch some videos on youtube and try master duels. So you have no idea how surprised I was to click on this random video talking about cards I liked and see that drawing appear. Seeing as I've got back into yugioh again (somewhat) maybe I'll try my hand at drawing again.

I remember circling the shopko ad for forbidden memories, with the 3 cards, including harpies feather duster. and pleading to get it. I was dismayed when i learned they sold two versions and mine didnt have the cards! still a top 10 video game, best game at the time.

I used to play magnet warriors years ago I duel links and it was my first king of games ranked deck. It was still good for long time even going into the XYZ era I would consistently beat Onomats at there peak. Before XYZ I would use plasma and I swear to God I had done this months before dekayed made a video on plasma magnet warriors. Definitely an underated deck especially in duel links, though it's not as viable now it's still surprisingly competent though the years 💪🏼💀

Ok, so I have a deck IRL for them and Magnum isn't that hard to summon. I run 3 of everything and I run fusion gate for Magnum. You don't have to summon the 2 big guys, but even they are easy to get out too- beserkion is just like the ABC monsters, but the easy way to go into Valk is thru Delta's grave effect, which can even be triggered off a link summon. It performed pretty strong in a "heart of the underdog" tournament, but I wouldn't recommend trying to compete with anything built for the current/past few formats

There was a comic and game shop in my area that would hold tournaments and the prize for 1st place was 3 BOXES of your choice. I have so man Yu-Gi-Oh cards because of that. I used a Thousand Eyes Restrict deck and wrecked.

Funny, in master duel I’ve gotten two copies of the fusion monster out in the same duel

I used a Beta in my Adamancipator Deck from Duelists of the Roses with Unexpected Dai for more extension. Man the beats from the game are nostalgic even today.

As a kid we gambled cards like battle city and I got wrecked by a guy that actually knew how to play. I lost my magnet boys. I had only played Duel Monsters anime rules with 2k lifepoints at the time, so 8k and a real deck through me off and broke my 60 card pile.

There's also the Magnet Warriors in Rush Duels. They're pretty fun.

Honestly, this is a very consistent deck for me on MD. Toss in some Adamancipator and you can whoop out Naturia Beast and several other negates.

Mine were the infernity cards that were in some old ds game (archfiend and dwarf) so one of them is even playable!

The modern deck is really fun to play Edit: homie I can bust that fusion out easy most duels

You didn't need to get them all on the table to tribute like you said. They could be tributed from the hand.

It was a crime that they stayed as promos for years until retro pack 2.

I love the fusion they have just a shame the materials for the fusion are pretty impossible to have setup

I run there successor deck (desk top bot) and will never not love both these little guys

Banning Verte really made it more difficult.

It annoyed me as a kid because i got the game used. What annoyed me more is that I pulled a Valkyrion in a pack.
