I genuinely dont understand how camping a spot waiting for a bug to pvp flag unsuspecting players so you can kill them is considered to be not greifing, but saying num lock opens your bags on a zeppelin is greifing. The bug should be fixed and the hunter should be banned.

That's just world PVP, not griefing. Your second example is tricking someone into death purposefully, which is griefing. Killing someone of the other faction who's flagged because of shitty blizzard mechanics just isn't griefing in the wow culture. Are you also not supposed to kill a lvl 20 that just plays with PVP on as a challenge when you're 20+ levels above him because that would also be griefing? Where do we draw the line exactly? If you're being careless and autowalking around horde guards, you can't expect the enemy faction to not take your life. They're called the 'enemy faction' for a reason.

@@Jesusaross Lol thats such a bullshit copout. Its a Hardcore PVE server. Exploiting flagging BUGS in a PVE server specifically designed for One Life gameplay is 100% griefing. Players should not be PvP flagged if they didnt attack the guard. You are either just completely braindead or a griefer yourself if you try to counter this and say that Blizzard shouldnt fix it. If your goal is to open world PVP Play a PVP server.

@@Jesusaross you're deliberately ignoring the fact that he is intentionally camping that spot because he knows there is a bug. He is abusing the bug to kill other players. There's no "wow culture" excuse for griefing. Abusing a bug to kill a hardcore character is absolutely griefing.

@@janitorizamped Who says it's even a bug? If you walk around horde guards in a contested area, you might get into trouble with the opposing faction. It does make sense from a world building perspective. This guy 'abusing' this mechanic might just be part of the game. It's similar to how level 60 rogues would camp opposing faction low levels in STV on PVP servers. You're an annoying bastard if you do it, and I don't respect you, but it's not griefing.

The hunter knows what he is doing and what he doing is being a dick, killing people knowing there is a bug. Yes, it's ultimately on Blizzard for not fixing the bug, but the hunter knows. You can't just say "that's part of the game" or "people are going to do it if they can", but it's not like that makes it any less of a dick move.

The hunter has been in another clip doing the same thing. He's hanging around guards while being over levelled for the area waiting for people to be flagged. He's a cringey loser. I agree ultimate blame is on blizzard but the hunter is still a cringey loser.

regarding the hunter, it is the hunter. he is camping that area knowing that it flags people that dont want to be flagged, then he kills them. that isnt playing the game, its exploiting a bug to grief players. its 100% the huntards issue. its not even the first time i have seen a video of this same hunter doing this exact behavior. hes not just playing the game. he is exploiting a bug and using is to grief players.

I'm less defensive of the hunter in the swamp. When he bounces around with his farsight thing, you can see he has a purple marker on the guard. He hasn't just randomly come across flagged chars, he's intentionally following the guard and farming that mechanic.

Swamp of Sorrows clip brings back scary memories when I got attacked by one of the guards (there are multiple Horde guards, too) and got flagged even if didn't attacked them. I instantly backtracked to the previous area and hid behind a wall but I was so damn scared that I logged off cause my HS wasn't off cooldown.

As for the "Regementet" Hunter Clip, it's on Blizzard and the Hunter imo. People dont wanna PvP if they dont accept Duels, so hes absolutely abusing the Fact that they get flagged. Yes you can avoid the Guards, but how many players are aware of that Stupid Bug? Not everyone that plays WoW looks up Clips like that, and the Hunter just erases like 1-3 Days of Ingame Time, if i would get killed like that, i would probably be hella mad and leave HC for good.

Two people can share fault for different reasons. I think the hunter is mostly at fault though. Its one thing to leave a pothole unfixxed, its another to wait by it and attack people that get out of their car to put a spare on. Sure that pothole shouldn't exist, but you also shouldn't exploit people's misfortune. If you can get a ban for causing someone to run off a ledge with some text foolery, this seems like a pretty clear case for a timeout.

Bug abusing is clearly the players fault. Yes Blizzard should fix the PvP flag bug. But the hunter is just a pig. lowerst of the picking order. Report him for bug abusing. 18:20 And dunno man. Priest is the healer who can react the fastest of all the healers. He died realy fast thats for sure.

Dont know, but the Rogue player in RFK looks to me just like a noob player that didnt know what to do after a player did fall off. I guess he was afraid of falling aswell, but it didnt matter at all because the Rogue is 5 level below the boss and therefor his DMG wouldnt have saved the grp at all. You can say that he's at fault, but i guess the Grp is at fault for even inviting such a low lvl player, especially as a meele.

19:06 People blaming the healer when he dualwield fury tanks probably beserkrrstance when it wasn't even necessary at that point in the fight. He ran instead of putting on sword and board, tank panicked. If you risk your life, better accept when you die.

1:00 the correct play from the rogue is to kill the 3 mobs with the priest. Its one elite and 2 non elite dogs. The priest used fear which made all other help impossible.

3:03 The debuff needs to be dispelled by the Shaman, or players should have Powerful Anti-Venom to take it off themselves on a hardcore server. It's a poison that, if left on a person, attracts Stinger Wasps charges that one-shot the victim. This is pretty much the same as in AQ40; if you have enthusiastic poison cleansing, these mobs become largely trivial.

that poor priest at the beginning man that is hard to watch. Rogue did try very hard to save him but shoulda gouged the dwarf right after the target dummy to block the priest getting netted and they woulda both made it out.

If an enemy guard aggros you, you get flagged for pvp. It’s not new to hardcore. It’s how Hunter griefers would flag people on Addon-based hardcore. Kite grom gol guards to darkshore, scatter, FD, kill newly flagged alliance. NOT NEW, despite Xaryus continued claim to the contrary. Highly scumbag behavior though. Guys just sitting in bis gear preying on people completely unprepared.

Unless you do damage to those guards they wont flag you for pvp. dont try to cc them just run and dont attack them. and make sure u dont turn your back so you get dazed. its intended, its a pvp flagged npc not a bug.

Swamp of sorrows has both stonard explorers who are pvp-flagged, and guards who are pvp-flagged. At least one of these flag you for pvp just by being aggroed at you. You don't need to hit these in particular or be hit by them. Not sure why they're different from usual pvp-flagged enemies, but they do seem to be. When the hc team baby-proofed the involuntary pvp flagging for official hc, this is something they missed.
