I think the only problem right now with Brawl Stars is the scarcity of gold for many players..We can get brawlers easily but to max them out along with their star powers and gadgets takes a lot of gold.

The starr road update was a big W. I unlocked chester on update day and im halfway trough unlocking amber. You can get legendaries way easier now, wich was one of my biggest problems as a f2p. The only problem with this game rn is the lack of gold, but im pretty sure they will improve this with the masteries update

6:15 No, I've had this as well on all modes. Sometimes it will lag when trying to load a game, which places you in the game earlier than you have control of the brawler or even the game itself. Most occurances are Showdown of course, but Knockout and Brawl Ball are also frequent. Not worth a 1 star though. There are worse issues.

I agree with you that the box removal was for the best but I understand why some people prefer them, I started playing whenever fang came out and already had every character by the time they removed boxes and had no problem getting them to level 9 with their stuff. I'm also in a club that's sometimes legendary sometimes masters and gold still feels scarce mostly because of mythic gears

the only thing I'm sad about is that when i open abox i expect a gadget or star power or a brawler .now boxes are gone and gold is so hard to get . the bonus reward in the end of the brawlpass give you 145 . ten rewards give you 1450 which is the equivalent of 1 gadget . when i open 10 big boxes i usually get at least 1 star power and 1 gadget . AND i still get the gold and power points . the problem isn't the boxes or credits it's the gold .. it's too little

I also thought that credits would make it way slower to unlock brawlers because I'm fairly new to the game so I was getting a new brawler at least once every few days from boxes, and I didn't realize how hard it was to get mythic, legendary, and chromatic brawlers. Now, I realize that although the progression might seem really slow, it's still better than the other system as there is still a guarentee that you will get the brawlers that you want eventually. Each free brawl pass gives about 1200 credits, + an extra 650 or so credits from the paid brawl pass which f2p players should be saving up for, + trophy road credits. Even after getting 10,000 trophies, the amount of credits that you get might seem very small, but from 10,000-20,000 trophies you get something like 1200 credits. For a f2p player that saves up for the brawl pass, that's about 1 mythic brawler every season, or 1 legendary brawler every other season + the brawl pass gives enough chroma credits for one chromatic brawler per season + a f2p player getting the brawl pass every other season guarentees an extra chromatic brawler for every other season. So that's at the very least 1-2 brawlers every 2 months, or like 5-6 brawlers in 2 months depending on how many epic/mythic brawlers a player still has to unlock, and if they have the brawl pass. Just a long winded way of saying that it's a good change lol

No mustache Also my only problems with the game is power points after having 4k cannot be converted to gold normally, so hoping this is addressed, along with I hope they take more time for balance changes. So many gadgets and star powers are imbalanced and I know I'm biased but I want Shelly to be meta finally 😂

When the boxes are still around, I somehow was very lucky to have every single brawler while not being very active. I can see their reasoning that it is now harder to get brawler if they used to be more on the "lucky" side of the gacha 😂

Its hard being a free2play with a low leveled because almost everyone is maxed and grinding trophies is the hardest its ever been

The thing I hate about brawl stars is that it takes so long to get legendaries with credits but before I opened 20 mega boxes and couldn't get 1 legendary

The only bad thing about the update was that now f2p players and especially maxed ones get chromatic brawlers rarely. I had all brawlers before the update and now I can't get Mandy FOR THE NEXT 4 MONTHS. As with every chromatic until then she will be nerfed to oblivion and be unplayable. So yeah for f2p players you have to wait 2 seasons or the equivalent of 4 months before the chromatic brawler drops to 500 credits and you can buy him.

The subscribe challenges really get me🤣

the only thing this update has made easier is to get 1 legendary brawler sooner than with the box system. and not to mention chromatics r impossible to unlock now . feel really sad for the new players

I do feel like for the casual player who don't complete all their quests it's now extremely difficult to get chromatic and brawlers. Also coins are SO HARD TO GET. I can barely afford any upgrades for brawlers, let alone having to get star powers and gadgets.

I'm f2p and I have 63 out of the 64 brawlers. The one brawler I'm missing is leon. And the star road is way better but the removal of boxes for a f2p makes things a bit more boring and especially challenges they feel useless now. But still it's probably one of the best updates ever.

The question for the one where bots are filled in for real players is partially true because in the latest updates real players started to enter others matchmaking too even in low trophy ranges which is a very good move be supercell

the game is more p2w now, because it takes a lot of patience to get a single brawler, and when you collected some credits there is always a message that pops up saying “unlock now with gems” which is really annoying and encourages you to spend your gems to get a brawler faster. of course you can still wait and play the game a few months to get a brawler, but that’s getting really boring with time

The only problem is throwers and other brawlers being way to damaging They litterally NEVER nerf throwers and they really need to

Tbh... progress when there were boxes, was a lot more than now for me cuz there were chances to get start power and gadgets which saves us a lot of golds...

The only reason I have gold rn is that I got 50k gold from gears and have slowly been using it up. Down to 35k now, idk how people are supposed to get gold fast enough to keep up with everything they need to buy.

im actually a literal example of how easier the progression has gotten after the removal of the boxes 😅😅😅 i have played the game since the global launch as a f2p player which is 4 years and well for someone like that,you expect them to have all the brawlers after playing for this long but before the box removal i only had 42 brawlers which is spending 35 days for each brawler but after the update( which was almost 30 days ago if im not wrong) i have gotten 5 brawlers(chester,mandy,gray,max and bonnie) now admittedly gray was given to all of us by a quest and i got mandy from brawl pass but still that leaves three brawlers which i have gotten from gathering credits which means 3 brawlers in 30 days and 1 brawler in 10 days comparing that to my previous stat (1 brawlers in 35 days) this is such a huge change for me

I got 3-4 brawlers since the update was released, definitely one of the best updates. And also now i can unlock the brawlers that I WANT, not random brawlers.

Boxes were like gambling for kids they gave you a dopamine rush when you opened them now we dont get that ez dopamine but now you get so much more fun out of grinding but children dont have the discipline to grind and thats why they all mad

I just have only one complaint about removing boxes. getting a brawler is no longer as exciting as it used to be. You can't say like "YOOO I GOT A LEGENDRY FROM A BRAWL BOX" or something. Now it's more like "I finally have enough credits to unlock a legendry,yay." even if it's more "pay to win", you would feel more satisfied.

One more thing about boxes. I was farming rewards for two seasons, i even bot brawl pass for one of them. After so much time pf waiting, around 3 days before end of that season i opened ALL the boxes, like literally. All the rewards and bpxes from two whole seasons. Guess how many characters i got? 1, which was chromatic from pass, besides that there was just one gadget and two star powers, so i also thing removing boxes was good

I liked the boxes but this update is just loads of better still the surprise of getting a brand new legendary or mythic just brawlers in a whole can never be forgotten😢

Another thing that makes it hard to get brawlers is that the battle pass is 170 gems but only gives 90 gems. And those gems aren’t even on the brawl pass. So you can only get the brawl pass every to seasons as an f2p unlike in Fortnite for example where you have enough bucks to get the next battle pass and some extra to spend.

About the credits: ive got all brawlers and all the credits I get go to the fame thingy but what if a new brawler comes out? Then I cant get the credits back, right? :(

I kinda agree with the box part but for a different reason. I think that everyone always picks the same brawlers (Leon, crow) that are good in the meta and it removes a lot of the diversity with brawlers. I would just make it so when u exchange credits u get a random brawler of that rarity, to make it feel just like it has a tiny bit of fang and luck

I think the problem right now is gold. They made golds the absolute currency in the game but as a f2p player i can say that i am almost all the time short of gold.
