What craft? Do you know that people who makes lead acid batteries are tested for lead every three months and they are supplied with free milk to drink. Never mind the sulphuric acid they breath when they fill the battery with 64% distilled water and 36% pure sulphuric acid. Also when making those batteries I did not see them installing a separator between plates. Also the posts are soldered/welded together to connect, it did not show in the vid, who knows how reliable these batteries are. These poor folks are working in the most dangerous conditions without proper clothing or respirators. I pray for them.

Poisoning by lead, Mercury, etc only happens if it somehow works its way into your system in a large quantity, handling or exposure by itself is not dangerous, only if you inhale powdered lead or stick a large open wound in a bag of powdered metal or somehow eat a big spoon of metal does it become dangerous, unlike poisonous gases you really have to work hard to get metal poisoning.
