I can attest to what this man is saying. I did the JJ Smith Smoothies recipes. I had 2 smoothies a day (one for breakfast and one for luncb). I added organic protein plant based protein powder to my smoothies. For dinner I ate baked chicken, broccoli. I didn't eat rice. I snacked on protein (Boiled eggs, tuna)... I drank 1 gallon of water Worked out twice a day. I lost 36 pounds in 30 days! I wish I can post pictures. 💃🏾❤️🙏 I'm wishing you well in your health journey and weight loss for whoever is reading this post. 🏋️‍♂️💪❤️

I agree! My kiddo definitely would turn her nose up at this meal. So to cook fun meals that taste good and are still low calorie was really hard. I would either cook something for her and my husband and make myself something different or they would be fending for themselves with frozen meals or things they can make easy. I lived off of eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, chicken breast, and broccoli.... We also go out to eat often (not as much fast food as sit down restaurants) and I had to learn to look at calories and pick healthier lighter options so I didn’t eat a days worth of calories in one meal.

Best shape of my life was 2013. I was 23, 185-190lbs 10% body fat. My exact diet was: Morning: 1/2 cup Oatmeal and 1-1 and 1/2 cup liquid eggwhites 10 am- 6pm: 4 meals of 8-9 Oz boneless skinless chicken breast. 1 cup brown rice. Handful or cup of Broccoli. Every 2-2.5 hours Protein shake post workout (40-50g protein ) Two Tilapia filets, no carbs no veggies. This was usually at like 11pm lol. Gallon of water + day. 2-2.5 hour sessions in the gym. NO cardio. My workouts were non stop so I guess that was cardio sometimes lol. Now, I’m 33, 225. Like 25% body fat. I’m lucky if I can eat 4 times a day let alone 6 times. I love to bodybuild/train still, but I think I just burnt myself out. I ate that way for 14 years. Having a hard time getting back to it. But trying!! Still have a lot of the muscle I developed, but trying to get this stubborn ass fat off.

Sorry but nothing you ate was healthy. Especially the oats. Its straight up poison!! Protein grows muscles but it also grows diseases too. The damage people do to their heatlh with these so called " bodybuilder diets " is crazy. Tbh the most injuries and health issues happen to builders for this very reason. The foods you guys are eating are very acidic and it causes major issues internally. Also you mentioned you cant eat the way your used to. Your body slows down and changes with age so dont over eat just because once upon a time thats what you did. Do more research and dont just believe anybody. Good luck and health people!!

good plan. You'd save much money by just getting a bunch of dry basmati. Latest thing I figured out: slice those chick breasts in 1/2" slices, in the long direction, season them, cook in air fryer for 8 or 9 minutes. You get more surface area when they're strips. Maybe they'd only need like 4 minutes on a George grill.

Those packages are for convenience. If I have use them, I will pour rice out onto a plate, instead of warming in package. Cover to trap steam, use recommended time. Turns out the same! Sometimes use frozen organic rice to save time, too.

Ahhhh yes the chicken broccoli and rice that certain fitness influencers and Hollywood movie stars preach on how they got jacked and gained 30lbs of muscle in 6 months. Only difference is he seasoned his chicken, every other actor says it has to be ‘bland’

Why would it have to be bland? Spices are zero calories!
@lord_yami4356
@lord_yami4356 Жыл бұрын
@@lessehead that’s the joke, it doesn’t have to be bland actors and other influencers always say that, “bland this bland that” no seasoning (also zero calorie seasonings actually have calories, anything under 5 calories can legally be rounded down to zero just a heads up!) but yes season ur chicken plz
@lessehead
@lessehead Жыл бұрын
@@lord_yami4356 I’ve never heard the word bland mentioned in connection with any weight loss diet, only if you’re having stomach issues and can’t handle spicy foods. I wonder where you heard that, specifically. Spices are the easiest way to make food taste good!

@@lessehead I believe Robert Patterson mentioned he had to eat bland pieces of tilapia fish with a squeeze of lemon to get ready for Batman which sounds so dry and just tortuous
@lessehead
@lessehead Жыл бұрын
@@lord_yami4356 I’d love to hear the reasoning behind it, bc it makes no sense. If you don’t overlook fish, it’s not dry, but seasoning gives it so much more flavor and again, no calories.

A little tip for the grill you can place cooking foil inside so you never have to clean the grill itself the meat still gets grilled trough and every time just throw the foil ;)

I love to cook so eating the same meal every day would drive me crazy. I have experimented with making my own protein powder since I’m on a budget. I bought powdered pea protein from Sprouts in the bulk section (it was cheap) I mixed it with pure cocoa powder (no sugar) and powdered peanut butter which is perfect because it has less fat that regular pb. I then added powdered milk, collagen peptides and confectioners swerve. All of the ingredients were already in my pantry except for the pea protein. I’ve noticed that after drinking my own protein powder I feel really good after a workout.
