Hey Eric. Really nice log cars. You know, if you bundle the logs with a rubber band first, then put the straps on it may be easier. You could then just cut the rubber band off, or leave it, but i would cut it off. Thanks for showing us the shay and log cars.

I always had a fond fascination for logging railways, just as long as it’s not Misty island from Thomas, I may be a Thomas fan, but I can’t stand that movie at all. In reality I really want to visit a real life standard gauge logging railway, that would be a wonderful treat!

The logging set behind the Shay along with the caboose is an awesome sight I cannot take my eyes off!

Very nice log cars Eric. Did you know Western Maryland #6 was used to haul coal not logs?

Just missing the WVP&P Bobber Caboose. Nice Run. We done up the Town of CASS, WV on our Layout where this Shay ran at. Jebbs photo is at Whittaker Station walking a Side Track.

Amazing you have a four truck Shay locomotive we came close to preserving an example of a 4 truck Shay locomotive it was unfortunately scrapped

Absolutely love how these look and let alone the ability to make a scene of one being unloaded or so much more love how they made the cars actually functional too and not just glued logs.

Very nice! They look a little like the older Industrial Rail cars. I found that with those ones, I had to pay attention putting them back in their boxes properly or I’d break off the brake wheel.

That looks really cool hauling the timber cars!!

I'd be mixing around the logs if I picked up the 6-pack. Otherwise each car is very noticeably hauling the same set as each other. Then again I have a few trees need pruning too 😊

Looks great, now all you have to do is build a logging camp and then I saw me off for the train to take the logs to 👍👍

In putting the logs back on the car I have found the use of rubber band to hold together. Then put straps on. Then cut of the rubber band. JH

Those log cars really make that shay really pop brother and where did you get the Illinois Terminal locomotive at? The nickname for that is the glow warm.

I really want this Shay but don’t think I could run it on my O-54 curves.
