@@gudamgirexia1000 Yeah but Chronicle is just a once per turn. Banishing is fine you have card that activate when banished, but at least in the core of this deck, you want Super Poly as soon as possible. Also adding is 2 counters while banishing is 3.

@kinglegs1081 if you want Super Poly as soon as possible, you should think about running "Evil Mind" as well; it requires your opponent to have 10+ monsters in GY, but there are plenty of decks that shit that many monsters in GY during turn 1

@@Gilgamesh-em6runot really, many superpoly targets are relatively generic and can only really be telegraphed when activate superpoly. Yubel on the other hand is an automatic “oh that’s what you going for” before you even have a chance to activate superpoly

the sacred beast structure deck has a lot of synergy with the deck so peopel can play the new yubel with a sacred beast engine to make it lore accurate and a playable strategy.

I'm imagining a world in a year or two where they cover it as a really good deck in History of Jank. That thought makes me smile.

Or perhaps Crimson Dragon should be banned as it's an enabler of degenerate things that were fine and chilling until now. Anyway, I doubt Calamity will be banned soon as he's part of the upcoming structure deck.

I think they should keep King Calamity legal as long as possible. Solely because it's funny that every time a deck can run it, people freak out and then figure out that it's better to just do something else like make PEP.

All Yubels are Level 10 and higher meaning they benefit from cards like Mound of the Bound Creator and I've seen people testing the deck with Opening of the Spirit Gate to get to their Continuous Spells and reborning Yubel.

The new Yubel calls for a Yubel Monster. As it does not specifically name the monster "Yubel" as its material, Muddy Muddragon and other Substitutes cannot be the Yubel required. Elemental Hero Prisma is the best option as it mills a Yubel and changes its name to Yubel, making it a Yubel Monster.

@SalSaDocs I feel that, but Prisma (and A Hero Lives) likely won't be the only HERO card ran in Yubel decks, since Neos Kluger is a card and Infernal Rage can search "Eternal Favorite" (but that requires two E-HEROes with different attributes for the summon, one of which needs to be Normal for the search) The two best choices are probably Neos and Shadow Mist (since Shadow Mist can also be popped by "Nightmare Pain" to search a Yubel card) And if you're already playing Neos, why not also play Spirit of Neos to allow you to search "Over Fusion"? (to treat a monster on either side of the field as Yubel for a Fusion summon, and as a QE) Another fun bit of janky HERO tech that I could see being used is "Evil Mind", since Yubel is a Fiend deck, and Evil Mind can search Super Poly in some situations Can't wait to see the jank these cards are being played in lol

you forget that the sacred beast structure deck exists and that has a lot of synergy with Yubel already but until now it didn't have a good boss monster. now it has a lot of points of interaction on the opponents turn. Opening of the spirit gates is able to pitch spirit of Yubel summon it back and that lets you search the super poly trap. and the sacred beast engine lets you do a few things on top of that. so you can play the new yubel cards with the sacred beast engine with the option of running Hamon/Raviel and the rest can be handtraps/boardbreakers/techs and use that as a competent deck.

it can go first. the sacred beast structure deck has a lot of Yubel synergy while helping you set up a decent board while keeping it lore accurate if you care about that.
