Fun Fact 3: All of the Hitmons have a picture showing them fighting another Hitmon. Lee fighting Top in Lee's picture, Chan fighting Lee in Chan's picture, and Top fighting Chan in Top's picture. They're all in an identical scene.

The Alola Dex did something similar, I loved how it showed evolution lines and related Pokemon together, and they'd all be in a thematic pose. I think the Pokémon going from silhouettes to darkened to part of the scene was a really nice touch and a better way of doing the checklist aspect of the pokedex.

Cyndaquil's picture is presumed to be a reference to the episode "Hot Matches," where Ash's Cyndaquil learns how to ignite its flame and defeats a Skarmory. This is referenced it with a photo of Cyndaquil by a rope bridge with Skarmory in the background

That's what I thought when I first played Legends: Arceus but then I heard about something that happens in USUM. Drifloon almost certainly succeded there. A girl is normally picked up from school by like a Drowsee or Hypno or something but they see a Drifloon instead one night and never return. You meet this girl as what appears to be a ghost as well.

Thinking about the froslass one , reminds me of a request about finding knowledge of a lost village in Abalaster Icelands in Pokemon Arceus. You find a old journal that shows the evidence and it was given to you by a froslass. Makes me wonder how long Froslass' can live up to!

I think my favourite set of cover photos is probably for the Chespin line. The Blueberry dex added new entries for them, which is great because otherwise there were only like.. two different entries. Plus, this shows Chespins live in caves. Which is very unique, I honestly didn't expect it. I welcome it, though.

SV’s Pokédex really is charming and probably one of my favourite Pokédex’s alongside SM’s for the SFX upon getting a Pkmn and completing an evolution line SV’s would’ve been perfect though if you could select pkmn from a whole selection using a cursor rather than scrolling tho
