I actually don't mind "Powerhouse Pokemon" personally. I think that it's just a case of us using a term for so long we can't see it as anything else. First Partner Pokemon can burn in a fire though, that name is awful.

Honestly, I like the term Powerhouse Pokémon. Has a more natural ring to it. I will never call a starter a first partner Pokémon though, it logistically makes no sense; I’ve only had one first partner Pokémon, Oshawott, it’s impossible for all the subsequent starters to also be my first.

Bdsp added nothing to the original games. They felt unnecessary. If the animation, graphics, and quality of life had been updated more impressively, im sure these complaints wouldnt have been as common.

Gen 9 was actually amazing when you look past the bugs. Great new Pokémon, likeable characters, amazing story- and an entertaining DLC with it! Critics just don’t have a heart to ignore glitches.
