I always found it crazy that basic steel models wind up trading above steel and gold models on the secondary market. That never really made sense to me.

Basic supple and demand. More demand for the Daytona Stainless Steel variant. If both variants are produced in equal quantity and more want the stainless. The price rises where as the opposite is happening with the 2 tone.

A few years before the pandemic, my buddy wanted a steel daytona. He went to a local Toronto area AD and was told there'd be approximately two years' wait. On the secondary market, it was trading about 2× msrp back then. He ended up buying a full rose gold model, which was freely available at the AD at that time and cost him only a couple of g's more than the steel one on the secondary.

I always thought that the black dial one was more desirable than the white dial one in the two-tone models unlike in steel. I’m also talking in the US market. Maybe in the European market the white one is the more popular for the two-tone models.

These updates are terrific thank you. Not because I want to love mine, but any idea where you are at to acquire a 2016 Hulk? Full set of course. I’m asking because I bought mine only about 9 months ago in my country (to avoid shipping and duty, as well as inspecting prior to my purchase). Thank you again

So you make a £2k profit by offering clients under list? Why is your margin so large. Surely you could pay your clients list and take a slightly smaller margin?
